Yep. Won't win a flag with him in the side.

Dawson is not a key forward. Anybody saying he should come in for Pav is delusional.
This is just getting dumb now. If Freo won't with Taberner they won't with Pearce.Yep. Won't win a flag with him in the side.
Clancee will be looked at. Probably the only changes will Pav rested and Clancee suspended. In Muz n toss a coin either Crozier or Matty.

So do we. I didn't say the team had to remain static, I simply said there is a good reason to keep it as stable as possible.Nah, even the Hawks and Sydney blood new players from time to time. Ask St Kilda fans what happened when the same players were played indefinitely, with no fresh faces. When injuries allow, we need to blood players. BTW Alex Pearce says "hi there".
So what? Try an untried Pearce based on perceived reports that he is a 'natural' as a forward. Now is not the time to try something like this out. Sorry but if you watch the 2013 GF (sorry for mentioning it..) Brian Lake wins a Norm Smith (which a FB rarely ever does) because Mayne doesn't work as a second forward and allows the second tall to go to Pav every time. Clarke tried as a forward, yet we know how he doesn't draw the opponent out. Tbh Taberner is getting the respect as a tall from the opposition as well as leads naturally up the ground compared to Clarke/Pearce. It works, who cares if he doesn't get 4 goals, 15+ disposals a game. Mayne is coming back to his best, Walters is as well and so is Ballas. The forward line is functioning and Tabs allows that to happen.Yep. Won't win a flag with him in the side.
What part of "as injuries allow" don't you get? No one is calling for wholesale changes- that is absurdSo do we. I didn't say the team had to remain static, I simply said there is a good reason to keep it as stable as possible.
Hawks and Sydney already have their premierships; we don't.
Yes, we have blooded some new players this year. So what? Alex Pearce certainly isn't a McPharlin replacement, he came in to fill a gap while McPharlin was injured. Lauchie Neale cemented his spot last year. Sutcliffe is starting 22, Sheridan is getting more and more games. Fyfe and Walters are what, 23?
Blood new players, yes, in order to cover for injury and wotnot, and I've already argued here and elsewhere I'd be looking closely at Suban's position.
But you don't do it just for the sake of it - that's next year.
I'm sick of this "hi there" business. What the **** sort of stupid argument is that? So we blooded a draftee this year. I said you'd be a fool to see him as a McPharlin replacement this year when we have a shot at the big dance, and nothing more than that.
I'm also sick of the St Kilda comparisons. That's Bay 32 bullshit bandied around by people who have little clue of how to run a footy team or the differences between St Kilda's situation in the mid-2000's and Freo's now. Half of our best 10 are under 25. It's a stupid argument, and one certainly not having a place in here among our own supporters.
My argument was against the introduction of new players as a strategy for the "longer term picture". I said now is not the time for that.
Basically, you'd be risking sacrificing a premiership this year in order to build for one next year. I doubt McPharlin, Sandi and Pav would agree with you, nor would Ross himself.
Imagine if Freo switches the peel players with the AFL players?
Just for fun
Yes we will. Am I doing this right?Yep. Won't win a flag with him in the side.

Exposing one or two kids to the AFL this year may indeed benefit our club this year.
Regarding your bay 13 comment, that is crapola. This is a forum for goodness sake! Each of us has an opinion, no need to get all precious.
With reference to Alex Pearce and his development, Luke Also took time to come on, in fact he had a whole heap of injuries early on.
I think you will find that a few different players will get a taste of starting 22 in coming weeks against lower ranked opponents. Really want a good 25/28 players getting a taste of the big league come finals, in case someone goes down.
