The point is - are they the worst two players in your team?. Murphy surely isn't, otherwise your travelling very well, a lot better than me!.

I think my last trade for a while will be Stevens to Ablett but that wont be till he drops down a bit. Hopefully in a few weeks I can nab him.

Wishing I had of got him at the start of the season too. I reckon him and bartel will be the first to midfielders I pick next year!

To sideways of a trade in my opinion. Both McKinley and Kennedy have started going up in price to much and their primary use was of a cash cow.

No they're not the two worst players in my team - that would be Shaun Hampson and Trent West by the length of the straight at Flemington - but why must I only trade my worst players?

Ablett, Goodwin, Cross and Power remain in my starting mids. Morton remains on my bench. To get Bartel and Harvey I am prepared to trade Murphy and Palmer.

I am proposing trading two very good players (Murphy, Grant) and four rookies (Palmer, Rioli, Tuck, Brown), averaging 82, for four proven guns (Bartel, Harvey, Franklin, Chapman) and two rookies (Myers, Cotchin) averaging 102.

On reputation/potential/draft ranking Myers and Cotchin effectively cancel out Palmer and Rioli, so effectively I am trading Murphy, Grant, Tuck and Brown for four proven guns. Plus $50K for my trouble.

And Chappy hasn't even hit his straps yet.

Hmm, I see your point. I just find it interesting that your in a position to trade out a guy averaging 104 and another guy who is averaging 98 if you take his 10 out. I'm just jealous you have the trades to spare!!!.

I've seen way better too.

Not saying that I have the best ever midfield though,but its a handy one in Judd, Stevens, Corey, Cross, K.Kornes and Palmer. Planning to replace Stevens with Ablett in a few weeks and maybe Palmer with Dal Santo later on

OR...downgrade Callan/Bird, then upgrade Guerra..to Johncock, Mcleod...solving at least 1 zero in the back

i think its too late to jump off mcIntosh.
as long as he's playing, i'd keep him for now and solve the 0 problem if it happens ^^^^^.

that's a decent midfield but if you're insisting on upgrading, i'd get rid of palmer (maybe after a few rounds though to max his price out) and then either stevens (if its the stevens of the Nick variety) or salopek. i'd lean towards getting rid of salopek but maybe thats the carlton in me

Wood - Avg = 52 (B/E = 63)
S.Johnson - Avg = 78 (B/E = 124)
Gamble - Avg = 68 (B/E = 30)
Will be using 1 trade this week on my bench to get Wellingham.
After that it will leave me with 12 trades & $548,900 in the bank.

Spot on mate my first ruck is Cox. I know it's a lot of coin to upgrade to Sandi or White but if you are going to upgrade may as well make it worthwhile. No use spending an extra 120k & upgrading to a 350k player thats only going to get you an extra 10 to 20 pts.
Anyway do you guy's think the 42k diff. between White & Sandi is worth it.
Also yeah S.Johnson has been very dissapointing this year (Yet to crack the ton after 8 rds.) So I think it time to bite the bullet & cash him for a more consistant player.
