they can yes. But Tanner Bruhn? not exactly a guy that is high profile. It doesn't fully stack up. But Geelong fans can't conclusively say either way what happened. And neither can I. But at least I know how the world works. Charges dropped means very little to me.

Yes you know how the world works but nobody else does. Righto

permaban this clown.
Permaban to defend an accused rapist? The majority of reported rapes don't proceed to charges. They wouldn't charge the accused if they didn't think they had a case.

"In Victoria, only 34 per cent of recorded rape cases resulted in any police progression at all, according to the Crime Statistics Agency."

Fact is you dont have a clue. Permaban this clown.

how so? There clearly was a reason to charge the accused.

By the sounds of it, the reason is one of two things:
  • The "high-profile person" either r*ped a woman in the Dan Murphy's parking lot
  • The "high-profile person" underpaid a sex worker for services in a Dan Murphy's parking lot.

If they thought they had a case they would be proceeding with it.
They clearly dont think due to certain reasons that they have a winnable case.
So your post doesnt make much sense.

lol at the ****ing richmond supporters in here acting like the ****ing moral beacons of BigFooty
But apparently with people on here you’re guilty until proven innocent when it’s actually the other way around. Plot holes in woman’s story I hope the truth gets out

No-one except the the 3 people involved know what happened that night. People are right to point out that charges being dropped does not equal innocence but nor does it mean he's guilty, we simply don't know.

People banging on about the victims credibility. Can you imagine trying to get a conviction when the victim did perhaps accept money, but then things went too far ? Not saying that's how things went, but this thread is a good example and how difficult it would be. There is naivety everywhere.

You forgot this one

- the high profile person paid for sex, the prostitute decided she wanted an easy earn and decided to tell lies about it to extort the high profile person.

  • Sex worker decided to extort "high profiled person" - which is the ruling.

Who made that ruling? When was that decision made?

Or do you want to delete this post due to posting misinformation?

Neither do you. But I do know they don’t have enough to make the charges stick. I wonder why?

Who knows. These cases are notoriously hard to prosecute. I don't have the answers but I think labelled the alleged victim as an extortionist is a disgrace, just because this guy happens to play for the football club you support.
