They heard the men paid the woman for sexual services, but after she demanded more money, which the men refused, she decided to report the interaction as rape, the court was told.

Imagine you'd just want to put this whole sorry saga behind you but if there's concrete proof of extortion you'd hardly blame the accused for seeking some kind of reparations.

You on the other hand though, took the first chance you could to make this a football issue about a club you don't like, rather than the humanitarian and societal issue that it actually is.

I'm not attacking geelong, but ive just spotted him with the cats boys on TV. Not sure that's a great look, given the allegations. I would've thought the less association, the better.

Sadly, we live in a society where people have now decided “ guilty until proven innocent” which is terrifying as a society and what that means.

I am sure geelong and our club will make the right call based off the finding. Until then, I don’t think anyone will be ostracizing him or treating him as guilty.

The right call was made to step him down during investigation, but to claim “ poor look” because his mates are still having a beer with him is “ guilty until proven innocent” logic and just wrong as a society
