Taking a guess of Dawes & Pick 58 for Pick 20 & 45 to be done tomorrow morning at around 10am.
Clinton Young to be signed later in the day at approximately 4pm.
Additional to the above, I'm never right.
Do I get any points for posting this on Sunday?
We have Hartley coming through, who shows at least some promise, in addition to Keeffe, and both of them are depth if Brown and Reid are healthy anyway, so I think we're okay in that area. When Keeffe was playing, he was our fourth string key defender, remember - He was only playing in defense while TWO out of Reid, Tarrant and Brown were missing.
Hartley needs to to step up and be a fourth string, and Keeffe can take his time playing in back to form in the VFL while acting as a backup for Reid and Brown.
As far as other defenders, I would like to remind everyone of Collingwood's forgotten man - Marley Williams. He'd played himself into our best 22 when he went down hurt, but he'll be back and providing depth for the team next year.
That's not what that word means. The only promise hartley has shown is playing well on Patton 2 years ago... literally.
He is very much a project player who will probably not make it.
AFL Free Agency, Trade, Draft & Season News
Geoff Walsh has said this morning on SEN that Collingwood won't be taking any further part in the trade period and will go into the draft with their 3 first round picks.
and in other news grass is green.AFL Free Agency, Trade, Draft & Season News
Geoff Walsh has said this morning on SEN that Collingwood won't be taking any further part in the trade period and will go into the draft with their 3 first round picks.
please note - trade period, but not free agency.
Geoff Walsh also said that Dawes could possibly remain at the club.
Why people take the officials of clubs at verbatim in this media climate where essentially all they do is give everyone nothing, i will never know.
Agree and as I Bucks said the day before we get Lynch we had not signed him and Day Later he was a Pie
Walsh said we are done and dusted..............at the way we are recruiting i think he meant we are gone next year !
We just traded a key forward.
We are in trouble with the ruck division.
We have speed
We may recruit youngsters in the draft that will take 4 years to come on.
We have no depth
Yep great signs ahead
Leave it walsh and co they know what they aare doing!

Fast becoming the most annoying poster on this board.
That's not what that word means.
He's shown more than you give him credit for, but he's a Presti-type shut down fullback, so he's never going to look flashy, and he struggled with injury this year - He'll just keep developing his body and hope to get better and more competitive as he develops.
He's a first year 196cm KPP - Why would you write him off so quickly anyway?
