Feels weird that we have to travel out of the hub straight away to play in Adelaide, but I'm sure it'll make sense in the grand scheme of things.

Gotta say though, as a shift worker who needs two weeks notice to request time off, all of these last minute fixture changes suck balls. At least I've got a full week to try to swap with someone before the next round, not a couple of days.

Lets embrace life on the road and get to 5-2. Wont get a better chance than we have right now to set ourselves up for finals.

I reckon we are a slim chance of playing finals.... because there won't be any!

All it takes is for community transmission to spike in Qld at some stage in the next couple of months and then it's curtains for the whole season probably.

This spike in victoria can happen anywhere in the coming months.

We are 100% in Townsville so should push for games up there haha

Since we are heading to QLD on Sunday, we will have been there two weeks and not played another Vic team so the SA Government is counting that as a Quarantine period.

we play geelong next week i think. port week after (round 7).

thats 4 sides out of the 8. we already have 3 wins. so if we just go with those 4 games as wins. that gives us 7 wins.

i think we need 9 to make finals to be safe.

so need to knock off essendon and geelong. or keep our form against GC.

The next two games are an absolute gift. Nothing is a given of course, but to be given two current 0-4 squads as the next teams on deck for us, that could give us an awesome springboard to set up the rest of our season.

wasn't aware of that. that's a very good result and lets be honest we deserve it.

we are, along with port, one of the only sides to really play attractive high scoring footy, when tv viewership is everything.

only loss is the rest advantage we had on geelong.

I would assume that training will be at Maroochydore - three really good fields with facilities that regularly hosts AFL teams in the pre-season. Noosa AFL field is a cow paddock in comparison.
