I think this is a fantastic comparison, as both look to be tremendous talents and have a good head on their shoulders. :thumbsu:

Can't split them.

It's funny, because I did a poll comparing Jed Adcock to Heath Shaw and got similar comments.

We've both got a pair of similar young players.

For the record, I chose Rischitelli in this poll because he is just a little harder at the ball and a fraction composed in traffic at this stage, keep in mind he's got a year or two on Pendles though. Both are going to be future marquee players in the competition.

Hardness at the ball is the area I criticize Pendlebury about most, although he has improved this year. Last year in particular, he sometimes sat back and waited for the ball to get to him, rather than closing the gap and making the ball his own.

The obvious advantage he has over Rischa is the physical dimensions, he could eventually play key position, which you would expect Rischitelli would be pretty unlikely to do. Having said that, our obvious need is in midfield, so I'd be happy for him to stay there.

Looking forward to seeing how their careers pan out, and congrats to the Lions for finding Rischitelli later in the draft :thumbsu:

I think Pendles is in our top 5 for hardball gets so far. I just looked it up and saw Rischitelli was a 4th year player, I thought he'd be a 3rd year at the most but oh well. H.Shaw is also in his 4th year which suprises most people.

Rischitelli was an absolute bargain at pick 60 odd.

Bit of an unfair comparison. Rischitelli is more ready made and a year older. Right now he's better but in 4-5 years Pendlebury's class will shine and he'll be considered better.

4th year player compared to a 2nd year player

Take it as a compliment that a second year player on your team is getting compared to a 4th year player.

I dont need reassurance that Pendlebury is a gun.

Oh goodie yet another BrownDog "quick quick look at our youngsters circlejerk thread"
They are getting pretty predictable and boring, no one gives a shit about your overrated list of hacks at the bears, so please stop bringing them up every single time you post.

And for what its worth even though Pendlebury has been playing for two less years he is streets ahead of Brisbane youngster.

That's wquite ironic considering that Kerr likes to whack opposition players in the testicles.

Which young midfield gun would you prefer in your team?

Said before, but great poll. This is the polls we need, not Cornes V Stanton.

Rischitelli for mine. He's doing a bit more in a midfield that is a lot more competitive to get into, Brisbane have Black and Power and Pendlebury doesn't have those players to compete with.

But I'd have either at my club in a heartbeat.

Rischitelli seems to be such an ideal player with a bit of pace, silky skills and poise way beyond his years.

silky skills???

his disposal often lets him down, the one thing rischitelli needs to work on the most

pendles has nothing really to work on, he will hopefully keep developing as he plays more games, has absolutely no weaknesses
