Bad luck, Black Swans. Again similar to the previous couple of games were right in it until three quarter time before falling away a bit in the last term which again proved to be pretty costly in the scheme of things.

TheInjuryFactory, Barrybran and CakeEater led the way on the day and were well backed up by solid performances from Greenery, Tonga Bob and Falconista. MWPP also chipped in when required while Van_Dyke was lively with three goals.

A disappointing tournament after last season's success however we were competitive in every game and just need a bit better luck in those few finals terms this season. However, I'm certainly looking forward to the next carnival in about 12 months' time with a chance to redeem ourselves in this format.

• While worlds weren't set on fire, GremioPower gave Tarkyn_24 a bath. - 50m from 15 to 65.
