oh i have never seen that footage. Unbelievable but nothing surprises me in Hollywood, they like a "comeback story". Woody Allen is still around working with top actors (eg Kate Winslet, Cate Blanchett).

I remember hearing a story from Jenny McCarthy, the ex Playmate.

I think the outrage directed at anyone who stayed quiet (especially victims) here is misdirected. Call it a sign of the times but the idea of speaking out against a Weinstein or his brethren even a year ago would have been a terrifying potentially career ending move. If there is a positive to come out of all of this its that at least times have changed enough that people now feel comfortable naming and shaming even if there are still a few mouth breathers who accuse them of "asking for it".

Hopefully the culture changes over there for the better, but I feel that a few will fall and the same s**t will happen once the media stop reporting.

It's not like Cosby or Weinstein where there's an avalanche of accusations, or the initial Spacey accusation where it came at a point where there's no reason to doubt it. Allen's is more complicated, and is why he's had a bit more of a free pass than the others.

Polanski's career fell apart for a period, and it was only really when his victim began saying that she wanted things to move on that others began advocating the same. The 1980s were a very quiet period from him.
