Norm Smith Medallist
Teams: Western Australia Vs Vic Country.
Location: The WACA, Wednesday 2nd May.
Teams: TBA prior to Monday 9pm AEST. (Thanks for updating the team in the thread, Ljp)
Form: WA will be out of contention if they continue to play like they have so far. After snatching defeat from the jaws of victory againt NSW&ACT they choked in the final minutes of their game against Vic Metro. Vic Country know that feeling well after Round 1, but they redeemed themselves against The Allies... just.
Summary: Os this The Clash of the Fallen Titans? Before the tournament the bookies installed these two teams as the mosrt likely to be battling it out for the ultimate prize. As it is both are struggling to stay in contention and whoever loses here will probably fall out of touch with the front-runners. Each team contains at least a handful of out-and-out superstars, but perhaps their lack of youth has left them too short on run? If that's the case this could well be a slugfest with the last team standing staying in this Carnival by the skin of their teeth.
