Because Wednesdays and Saturdays are my busiest days. That means I need to get the simming and everything done Tuesday and Friday morning or otherwise it doesn't get done until about 9pm on the day they're sposed to get up. See Round 2 for what happens when I don't get everything I need to done by the time work starts Friday arvo.

What I don't understand is the need for two games a week.

So why not have the games Tuesday/Friday? I only suggested Wednesday/Saturday, if it was an issue speak up.

I wouldn't expect deadlines to post teams to be less than 24 hours after threads going up, that's just plain bullshit. It's a completely unreasonable deadline and if it were going to be that way I'd expect a PM at the very least. Not everyone on here studies at uni or attends high school. Changing deadlines to suit your own lifestyle without making it clear is rubbish. If it can't be done that day then change it to another.

The games should be five days apart with at least 48 hours to post a team. I'm pretty sure a solution could have been worked out before the situation occured.

Welcome to qooty at the WACA as we present the two teams with the biggest egos in this competition. WA are the only side to three-peat the prestigeous SFA State of Origin, but Vic Country are looking to change that this time around. There's no doubt this is a must win for both teams as they struggle to stay in touch with the top of the ladder. If WA were to win it would keep alive their oh-so-slim chances of winning the tournament. If Vic Country were to triumph, it would thrust them right into the mix for the silverware.

Controversy has raged in the buildup to this game with both sides complaining about administration of the league and totally unacceptable treatment of captains but tournament simmer Logger. Logger's subsequent dummy-spit and confusingly premature opening of the penultimate round's threads has only exacerbated the discontent brewing amongst league heavyweights and shown him to be, in my eyes, unfit to sim. And that is indeed the way it will stand at the first break. It's been a good hard contest here with both sides putting their bodies on the line and the pressure on disposal fierce. Country had more opportunities but it was WA who made the most of theirs and subsequently have the lead. A bit of confusion about who exactly ought to be Country's ruck may have unsettled them after captain ClarkeM had to go off to sort it out, but his reappearance ought to help them focus on the job at hand.
