Not much to fear in the WA line up. Just one very bad outing for the best bowling group in the Shield and here we are.

Definitely taking our lineup over the Vics. Marsh is one of the best domestic bats in the country, Stoinis is a regular international (albeit in the shorter format), Inglis and Philippe are very underrated and Cartwright did a good job replacing MM (who is also a very good domestic player despite struggling for Australia). Only place you’ve really got the upper hand is the bowling.. and even then, we only had our second stringers out there. Don’t think you’re giving enough credit.

Marsh won us this game , Pattinson still complaining about decisions at the end of the match , Marshy just walks away brilliant .
Makes for a good shield season especially having the test players available for three or four games before test series .
