He was a wall tonight farken, what else do you want. Was superb in R1 too. Back to back excellent (albeit big break between) games.

McKenzie's 2 games this year have been better than any Doogs game of the previous 2 years. Come at me.

He has been rock solid so far this year (and late last year in the SANFL was one of the best every week), certainly holding his spot for the foreseeable future.

Nah. He's been good though. Hopefully he can keep it up when we're not playing the two worst teams in the league.

Agree he was solid. Be nice to see a few more of those long kicks used as a weapon.
But we've also only played gold coast and possibly the worst crows list ever so maybe pull the reigns before we say he's the solution to all our tall defender worries
I'm surprised that you're showing signs of optimism

Top effort by the team . Loved the tackling and the forcing of turnovers or enough pressure to produce a hurried kick .
The blend of young and old was really good with all the young guys playing well , was very impressed byButters and Duursma , then Amon and Byrne Jones . McKenzie was impressive as well , his marking was good as was his kicking and contested work
Marshall was good and looks ominous.
Westhoff actually had an excellent game as well in fact I can’t think of a bad player . Hope that continues lol .
and guess who’ll be on top again

Gee I hope so. Boak, Gray, Westhoff the benchmark.
We have done exceptionally well out of the draft pool for 5 straight years:

2015: Bonner, Houston, Burton
2016: Marshall, SPP, Ladhams, Drew
2017: Hayes, Garner, Farrell (? Patmore) - very underrated group IMO
2018: Rozee, Butters, Duursma
2019: Bergman, Georgiades, Williams, Mead, Pasini (? Burgoyne)

players in brackets with a ?, I’m uncertain or doubtful about having an AFL career. Those omitted (eg Atley, Woodcock, Grundy) are more likely to not succeed at AFL level. The ones I’ve listed I have confidence in.

... I'm being told they used that pick 12 on Darcy Fogarty.

Never mind.

Fogarty kicked 4 today too!

... I'm being told he actually had 4 kicks today

He's a Vic mouthpiece so he'll back Collingwood the rest of the way, but it's a small victory nonetheless.

I think there's genuine support for Port's cause to wear the PBs from parts of the Vic media but they won't take Eddie on

He’s been solid. I’m hoping it’s real.

Crows will likely finish with the wooden spoon so we have to take that result with a grain of salt but still good to see we got the job done as we should have. The Gold Coast result vs West Coast was pleasing however, as was the draw between Richmond and the wobbles. If we can get two wins out of the next three then finals should be a genuine chance.
