If scraping over the line against a bottom 4 side is a famous win what will they say when they beat a top 8 side![]()
Structure? We don’t have a structure.Himmers was alright. Got outplayed by Allir in the second half. It happens. Was probably more on Nicks.
I think our structure looks better with Himmers…

Kelly?Developing player gathers the ball, slick handball to other developing player who receives and weaves out of trouble giving off to a senior player who fumbles it or turns it over despite having open team mates.
Jones picked him out beautifully in our last roll of the dice for the game. We are so dumb. All effort, but no composure.Has it ever occurred to you that Nicks may have requested his players to try & avoid kicking it to Aliir, but in the heat of battle inexperienced players didn't always follow instructions - & I didn't abuse you(well, not the 2nd time!!)
It was Jones 1 mistake.Jones picked him out beautifully in our last roll of the dice for the game. We are so dumb. All effort, but no composure.
Thilthorpe and Himmelburg are too physically weak to do the job in Alir. You sacrifice a player
Thilthorpe was doing nothing
Should have had him play the defensive role on Alir
It's why we kept playing Frampton, FFSThen who
Who is big enough to go with an intercept defender ?
But … and I’m straw clutching here - were trying to out mark him ?Thilthorpe and Himmelburg are too physically weak to do the job in Alir.
We know this. Our key forwards not bringing the ball to ground is why they've been dropped previously.

Alir doesn’t dominate like that against mature forwards.Thilthorpe and Himmelburg are too physically weak to do the job in Alir.

Missing our smartest player.
Keep Cook in for the rest of the year and let's see what we're looking at.
Jones will cop heat for the last minute but his night was fantastic.
Shoenberg. He's an absolute star in the making. Giving me the feeling.
Young team who, when they bring the pressure, dont look fazed by any team in the comp. But just can't do it for long enough. Frustrating.
Port, ha. Kidding themselves if they think they can beat 3 quality opposition in a row.

He was no orphanThe thing is, he's just made a mistake in what is likely his biggest game of his career.
He'll learn from that and get better. We need these guys to get game time and make mistakes....just not the same ones for 200 games
The Advetiser are rarely right - I might e mail them the ladderaccording to the Advertiser, Ports victory was a famous one

And the realistic Port flogs know this is a huge problemIf scraping over the line against a bottom 4 side is a famous win what will they say when they beat a top 8 side![]()
2009 Tippett
The “what if “ years
It is a very poxy songI turned off when their poxy song came on and don't care what he said.
And when he played a defensive role he was good , don’t you think ?It's why we kept playing Frampton, FFS
Its a pity our defenders got hurt. Wouldve loved to unleash Nick Murray against Aliir. At least he has the athleticism to go with him and Murray's general philosophy of just go for the ball rather than wrestling would've been interesting to see. He still would've been beaten no doubt but it wouldve been good data to collect for future.

He wouldn’t have won if we didnt keep passing to himAlir doesn’t dominate like that against mature forwards.
Two years time TT will dominate him. He will be physically stronger and smarter.
Alir deserved the Showdown medal, he was the reason they won, but he dominated three forwards with 74 games experience between them.

But a really bad one which was representative of the game last night. It was Jones 1 mistake.
Nullify Aliir and Houston and we win that game. Next showdown would be disappointed if they don't try to limit Aliirs influence.[emoji1360]
Defend the defender
Like tagging a tagger
Surely nullifies a bit of the influence
especially whenAllir is the reason they won
How good was Cook for a first gamer, 17 disposals on debut will be a good player for usI honestly thought we were going to implode and all the kids were going to have no idea how to handle the last few days.
Great job, and is a really positive look into our future. Can't wait to watch Pedlar, Cook, TT, Schoey in 22-23 to turn the corner and be the real pride of SA.
Don't rubbish Blewey by associatiing him with the other guys there.Forget Blewett and Warner, they’ve got Dixon, Orazio, and Motlop ⛷
