News Six Cats in All-Australian squad of 40

Everyone will overlook it, but I still think the AA captain should be captain of their team.
Yes, but how do you decide whether its Cripps, Hurne, Pendelbury or whoever, assuming they are in the AA team? I don't think it matters all that much; its not like the AA captain will ever toss a coin on behalf of the team

You clearly didn't watch the Brisbane game. He wasn't close to our best 6 and his direct opponent was a major reason they won the game. They weren't "game saving" ruck contests either, they were game losing ones.

It's not like the coach didn't bring Stanley in the following week to avoid a repeat.
Blicavs can play anywhere and does.
He excels at FB.
He deserves AA this year.
Stanley needs a rocket from time to time to get him up to speed.
Thank the selectors we have Blicavs to fill the gaps.

4 goal assists to 24 which of Brown and Hawkins do you think has 4 and which has 24?
(btw that's full season stats lol)
Do you think the selection panel will favour Tom over Brown on that basis though?

Free kicks shows a little story 13 to 44 holy fu**
Was going to point out the same thing. 13 free kicks to Hawkins compared to 44 for Ben Brown. Surely a mistake? That's a ridiculous discrepancy between two key forwards.

How about this to raise a few eyebrows - Geelongs nominations for the AFLPA MVP, remembering these are voted on by teammates:

Geelong:
Tim Kelly, Tom Hawkins, Mark Blicavs

If the theory that only the final 22, not the squad of 40, attend the event tonight - Stewart, Kelly and Hawkins are all in the final 22 👏👏
Stewart/Danger/Hawkins should be in with Kelly a good possibility
Also Ablett in the forward line (they better not name a mid at HFF and Snub him and Walters e.g. Dusty/Danger in the forward line and leave Walters/Ablett out

Talia, Andrews, Blicavs and Rampe as key backs. Blitz is more than a chance

I reckon he's the least likely of the 6.

For me the only way he gets in is if the selectors buy into all the hype surrounding his transformation into a key backman. In reality, he's really not that good a defender imho.

Respectfully I disagree.
If we end up with just Stewart in the defence it’s a farce given how much better our back 6 has been than everyone else’s

Got some inside info? Surely gaz makes it

Just watching the Fox Footy coverage. Apparently only members of the final team are there.

Hawkins, Kelly, Stewart and Dangerfield are there. No sign of Ablett or Blicavs.
