Heard on the rumour mill that the big wiz maybe turning back the clock and playing senior footy very soon. Has been dominating in the reserves and may be called up to play alongside the cat!!

Rumours going around that Heatherton are talking Divvy 1 talk already after their latest signing of B.Skinner....they reckon with him they should beat Dingley....time will tell Tonners!
Mr Akermanis

B Graham (Heath) Atkin (Ding) Douma (Murr)
HB Sheehan (MK) Wardell (Heath) Andrews (Ding)
C Layton (Oak) Sauer (Heath) Hawking (Murr)
HF Fermanis (Oak) Carroll (Ash) Frost (Ding)
F McEvoy (Caul) Williams (Heath) Gniel (Ding)
R Morgan (Ding) Baranski (BR) Turcarelli (Ding)
Inter Lavars (Ding) Brooks (Ding) Rowlands (Murr) LeMarca (Oak)

Very hard when you only see each player twice from other clubs. The Half Forward line would be better than what Div.1. could come up with.
Are u serious.. Wardell 1 good game all year all he has done..
Mr Akermanis

Bright Spark, what happened on the weekend, do you guys have heaps of injuries, or were you just out played all day?

Another question for you, why is regnier not playing senior footy, he destroyed us in the seconds when you guys played us at your home venue. Going through your reserves side, there should be a few playing senior footy.

Are the wheels falling of down there at the moment?

Bright spark, can you make comment on this? and can anybody confirm what regnier is going to the tribunal for, i think that might be lights out for regnier, he may be delisted from the league. Good footballer but cant stop belting blokes

Good work from the Tunners on the weekend, finally showing that div2 isnt a one horse race like everybody thought.

Can they do it again or was it a one off??

And also, can murrumbeena and/or oakleigh beat dingley or heatherton?

I think both a more than capable, know Beena pushed Heatherton well last time and they have been without some keys players for weeks now but they will return for finals.

Oakleigh seem to be in good form at right end of the season and are a good running team who have some weapons.

Did Dingley rest any players on weekend?

I know turcarelli and obviously quinn werent playing, but other than that dont think dingley had any first class players out. Heatherton on the other hand had wardell, blandemer, corey hand and dylan hand all out who are four walk up starts in their best 18 so pretty impressive effort.

Should be interesting to see how oaks fair against heatherton this sat

Dingley had turcarelli, quinn , moore, and daniel brown out, three of them are onballers, and quinn fullfoward. should be a good final

Heatherton had top Utility Corey Hand out! I heard he is out this week as well! Very stiff to miss after his opponent head butted his fist!

Turcarelli is a fair player missing but hasn't played since Rd12-13.
Quinn hasn't played since Rd9ish & is still hobbling around on it.....so unless he's just trying to stitch everyone up & will play during finals, but i somehow doubt it!
Brown has spent the last 3 weeks in the 2's & maybe come into contention for his spot back!
Cainey would have to be a wild card for Dingley come finals time!

Regardless of who was in or missing, it gives hope to others as no one has got within 10 goals of them for 16 rounds.

Personally I think they will still waltz in the flag, but if the finals are a shade of last year (in all divisions) it's going to be a cracker of a finals series..
Think there was a total of about 10 points (including a draw) between every GF last year, and apart from Div 2 so far the others look like being much of the same.

Good luck to all finals contenders:thumbsu:

Moore aslo been out for a couple of weeks.
Caine and Gill could both be wild cards some finals time.

Looks like it will be two very good games in a couple ofweeks time.

Who will win the 1st Semi this week?
Should be a close hard fought encounter with the Beena starting to get there full list together whilst Oakleigh rested half of there team yesterday.I'll go for the Oaks by a kick.

Quin will play GF

Wont matter, he'll be on one leg and will be a liability. Hope he does play for those reasons actually..

beena to beat oakleigh after the oaks let themselves go in to the finals in poor form off a 100 point hiding and dingley to obviously smash beena in the prelim.

Tunners to beat dingley both times, their defence is way too good for the dingoes forward line, dingoes defence cant contain tunners' forward line, and tunners midfield has the edge in hardness if not skill.

And so it is written.

 Apart from williams Heatherton have no forwards. stop williams and heatherton are f***ed for forward options. Krepp is a blaze away who just bombs the ball as high and far as he can.

Agree re: krepp, but he's kicked 46 goals and 10 in a match so hes just about the most dangerous small forward in the whole division.

Throw in dylan hand, jamieson when hes down there, einsedel when hes not giving brooks a pantsing, o'connell who creamed dingley the other week and josh bennett and its a lot scarier then dingleys sad excuse for a forward line.
