Guy Richards looks to have taken a step in the right direction. In the few games his played - his looked good in the ruck and moves pretty well, also having clean disposal which is good. I think he could be the ruckman we’ve been waiting for. PS - Also has a great leap. (I am real excited about this kid)

Luke Mullins what a smooth mover he is, and with polished skills. This kid has a great upside.

Also does David King remind you of Tarkyn Lockyer, in body shape and the way he plays?

So what do you pie fans think of these boys?

We were killed in the centre for most of the game.

Mullins needs to tie a string between him and his opponent so he can find him.

Why does Swan get the fumbles when anywhere near goal.

And King, looks good on the field, now tap him on the shoulder and tell him which way to run...
Epithets commentators use when positively describing young kiddies on the field.....
"got some nice touches"
" did a few nice things"
"show'd a bit of poise"
"had a great period"
"had a great quarter"

Keep them all on the field from now to the end of the season, swallow our pride and shuffle off to the southern end of the table, but at least we'll get an accurate idea of whether these guys are going to be one quarter wonders or four quarter players.....

Bloody Oath Ranter, Great Points There.

play The Kids and lets see what they can really do, then lets get a pick and maybe kick a few of the passangers of the Team. Most of all we will know if the Young'uns are good enough for this level of footy instead of giving them a bit here and a bit there.

Collingwood Problem is to many Passengers and Lack of Depth.

Some people in this Forum love one player one week the next week despise, him, Leave Swanny alone, it'll Come.

G'day guys.I thought Richard Cole played well.I'm in a fairly serious fantasy footy league and looking for another long term young ball magnet.Just wonder what pie supporters think of this dudes future. With Figjam injured and Burns semi injured , and woewodin playing fairly average it seems the perfect opportunity for him to step into the midfiled for a few games at least.

Just wonder if you guys think he'll be up to it and whether he's going to be a long term prospect for your club.Cheers

Must have been at a different game to the one I watched last Sunday.

Richards spent most of the time on and off the bench and did nothing in the ruck and even less around the ground.
Mullins got a few touches but let his man go where ever he wanted as a result the ball went into Freo'forward line time after time
King did absolutely nothing and spent most of the day on the bench.

I find it hard comment reasonably and objectively on players who have played less than 50.
Like forming an opinion on the team after only 4 rounds.

I don't want to do a "Tranquilli" for those who remember his appearance against the Beagles.

"Oh, yeah, lots of touches, goals, wonderful future",
I got excited.
what a crock.

As soon as a kiddy starts putting in consistent 4 quarters of footy for a reasonable number of matches then I will say

'the kid is showing a bit'.

Richards needs time. Lots of it. He'll be ok as a Matthew Clarke type tap ruckman. Still 2 years away though.

King, Mullins, Schackleton, McGough, Nixon, R Shaw and others need to step up IMMEDIATELY.

Swan is starting to perform consistently - he's the brightest of the lot at the moment - but he needs a few more to help out. Mullins wasnt bad on a difficult debut.
