Im certain no one would have predicted at the begining of the season that by the end of Round 10 McVeigh would be our 2nd highest scoring player.

Paul Roos certainly didn't

It's amazing how highly he places in many of the categories up there.

EDIT - Another interesting stat: Barry Hall is still leading in contested marks with 12 which just goes to show what great form he was in before he went apeshit.

Would be sweet if you could put in brackets next to them where they rank in the AFL!

Would like to have seen more output from Rhino in goals kicked department. Moore has been a pleasant surprise sitting 2nd in goal assists and inside 50. Goodes 1st in those departments is no surprise though.

I would but I grabbed the stats from the swans site. I could probably grab the stats from footywire or somewhere and put them in there but I'm a lazy, lazy man Ed. Plus the girlfriend is about to come over and no doubt I will have to endure hours and hours of "Are you still on that stupid football site?". Bitches got no respect.

I heard Roosy say that Rhino's posi now is more of a running player similar to Goodes. As evidenced by Sat's game he was more effective setting up play from the back and running around the oval. His kicking accuracy in front of goal was never the greatest but his new found role i believe has created something more damaging..

Interesting to see we're getting a real spread of players throughout, except for the repeat offenders Kirk, RyanO and Goodes. Good to see

Goodes is the one who has impressed me the most, i know hwedidnt start in the greatest of form, but its the little things, assists, tackles, 1%, inside 50's.

He is in all of those stats. He doesnt need to be getting 30 touches every week, the touches he does get are quality and he is doing a lot off the ball
