I remember in my high school, you would walk into the Library during the lunch break (there were 20 or so computers available to students during the lunch break) all you would see was students playing Stick Cricket. An addiction for many of us (me included) ensued.

I just rediscovered it recently and have become hooked again. The amazing thing for me is the amount of modes available these days. When I used to play it, there was only 1 game type, where you just got the highest score possible.

I've only been playing the World Domination mode, so I can't compare highest scores or anything, but I was wondering if anyone else on here plays it? Good way to pass time whilst refreshing bigfooty

I play it every now and then as well. I have to say though I am not impressed with the new shots the batsman play (cross batted slogs and the straight smash is like Dhoni's straight six i.e. bending legs a bit). Seems the impact of Twenty20 has led to Stickcricket getting rid of proper technique.

Yeah the iPod/iPhone version is great. What's everyone's top score in 5 overs?

Got 0/140 today, with Haddin scoring 112 off 22 balls.

Best in five overs - 148.
In 20 overs - 553.
In 50 overs - 1213.

Not bragging, by the way. I know people who have substantially higher than that, particularly in the longer versions.

I got 1100 of 50 overs on a 40 inch LCD monitor on movie settings. Laggy as all hell, got nailed by the fast bowlers because I had to choose a shot almost before they bowled. Was like 7 down for about 370 off the first 20 overs, then got a massive partnership between Doherty and Johnson and annihilated the spinners and medium pacer to get just over 1100.

I give the computer a three over head start when playing that Aus Vs England game, just to make it more of a challenge. Still usually win with a few balls to spare.
