CARLTON legend Stephen Kernahan will fill in as acting president of a new-look Blues board. However Kernahan won't be in the hot seat at tonight's annual general meeting, with Simon Wilson, QC, to act as chairman.

Blues directors last night met for the first time since Friday's vote count, which saw president Graham Smorgon dumped from the board.
The gathering was to enable directors to become acquainted and to decide on a chairman for tonight's AGM.

Kernahan is yet to decide whether he wants the top job permanently, with a decision on a new president to be made within the next week.

Director Greg Lee is also keen on the job, while lawyer Stephen Moulton is also in the mix.

Moulton, a senior partner in law firm Mills Oakley, has great support among club supporters and coterie groups.
