CARLTON firebrand Brendan Fevola returns to the senior line-up after a week’s sabbatical for the round 15 match against the Sydney Swans at the SCG on Sunday.
The gregarious forward has been named on the interchange bench and is one of two changes in the Blues’ team this week.
Fevola was stood down by the Blues after he gave away two 50m penalties against Fremantle at Subiaco in round 13.
He later conceded his attitude was wrong from the start of the game, and said he had learned from the episode.
Jordan Bannister returns after one match with the Northern Bullants.
Shaun Grigg and Jordan Russell have both been omitted for the clash.
The Swans, meanwhile, are looming ominously for their fifth successive finals series. The Sydney brigade has made no change to the line-up which humbled Fremantle last week by 18 points.
Promising Hawthorn forward Mitch Thorp will make his much-anticipated senior debut against Richmond on Sunday at the MCG.
Thorp, an exciting key-position player from Tasmania, has impressed in the VFL with Box Hill Hawks.
“I am pretty excited about playing my first game, and playing it at the MCG,” Thorp said.
“It's been great coming to a club like Hawthorn and I am looking forward to running out with my teammates on Sunday.”
The 194cm, 86kg goal-kicker was the Hawks’ first-round pick in the 2006 NAB AFL National Draft – and sixth overall.
A right-footer, the 18-year-old hails from the Tassie Mariners and Tassie Devils. He represented the isle at 2006 NAB AFL National Under-18 Championships.
The Hawks match committee have also included veteran Ben Dixon for his first match since round 11 when he suffered a hamstring injury.
Dixon, 30, has been selected on the half-forward flank.
Defenders Danny Jacobs (ankle) and ice-pick Josh Thurgood (omitted) are out of the weekend’s game.
Richmond has made three changes, including Chris Hyde, Brent Hartigan and Jay Schulz at the expense of Brett Deledio (hand, four-six weeks), M. White and Jack Riewoldt.
Luke McGuane, Kelvin Moore and Riewoldt have been named as emergencies.
Fremantle has made four changes for its round 15 match against the rampaging Kangaroos at Subiaco.
With six wins for the season, and two games outside the top eight, Fremantle coach Chris Connolly has made four changes from the side beaten by the Swans last week.
Ryan Murphy, Ryan Cowley, James Walker and Daniel Gilmore have been included in the 22.
Matthew Carr is out with the flu, as well as out-of-form trio Byron Schammer, Shane Parker and David Mundy. However, all three men have been named as emergencies.
The fifth placed Kangaroos have made a solitary change, ushering forward Aaron Edwards into the line-up at the expense of Matt Campbell.
The Kangas have selected two small forwards as emergencies – Lindsay Thomas and Djaran Whyman, who both have a bye with VFL affiliate North Ballarat this weekend.
The other emergency, Brad Moran, will line up for Tasmania.
In other late selection news, the Western Bulldogs have pulled a surprise by replacing Cameron Wight with Scott West in the emergencies list for the game against Essendon.

West was expected to miss with a groin injury, but has been added to the Bulldogs' 25 for the Saturday night clash at Telstra Dome
