Its too long to wait though:(

JT was a deserving winner, Stephen completely blew any chance he had of winning with terrible answers to Jury questions.

JT plays the first "perfect game" (no votes against him throughout the game and a consensus final jury vote) and definitely deserves the win.

Coach is happy too, because he kinda did 'change the game' in a sense, as JT brought the strongest to the end and we got the Warrior vs Wizard matchup that we'd been hoping for.

Great season, and I think JT will go down as one of the best and most deserving winners in Survivor history. He combined strategy, physical prowess, survival skills and great social play to help him win the game.

Looking forward to Survivor: Samoa, coming in September.

I would LOVE a season in a colder climate for once, but things might get a little too iffy if it is TOO cold. Survivor Alaska, or Iceland, or New Zealand would be fantastic though:thumbsu:

Yeah I really want them to go to the snow in Iceland for a season. It'd be the best place to have a cold climate season because there are plenty of hot springs where the players can spend their time in the water.

Also, who'd be up for another All-Stars season now (possibly Heroes vs Villains)?

Males:
Tom Westman - Palau
Judd Sargeant - Guatemala
Shane Powers - Exile Island
Todd Herzog - China
Erik Reichenbach - Micronesia
Ken Hoang - Gabon
Randy Bailey - Gabon
Coach Wade - Tocantins
Tyson Apostol - Tocantins
JT Thomas - Tocantins

Alternate:
Yul Kwon - Cook Islands

Females:
Sandra Diaz-Twine - Pearl Islands
Twila Tanner - Vanuatu
Candice Woodcock - Cook Islands
Courtney Yates - China
Peih-Gee Law - China
Natalie Bolton - Micronesia
Sugar Kiper - Gabon
Corinne Kaplan - Gabon
Taj George - Tocantins
Erinn Lobdell - Tocantins

Alternate:
Michelle Yi - Fiji

Alternatively, I really wouldn't be surprised to see Coach and Sugar to return in Survivor: Samoa to lead their tribes just as Stephenie and Bobby Jon did in Guatemala, particularly after hearing the "Warrior" theme emphasised on the preview for Samoa.

Yeah I've thought a season in a cold climate would be good for a while now, but I'm guessing it will never happen as they will stick with what they know works/ plus it might not work with freezing temps/night/lack of fire.

Pretty awesome season this one, this show still has it.

It would be great if they could find some location like that. Probably have to make some compromises, but geez I would kill for a Survivor in snow.

This season was excellent, but IMO it had nothing on Micronesia, which was the last season I watched. Ive had Gabon spoiled rudely as well >_<. Oh well, Im thinking of obtaining some of the seasons I have never watched, and also the Australian Outback season, THAT was the best season ever. I still remember when that man (Michael?) fell on the camp fire and got terrible burns. Horrible stuff.

And on another sad note, the winner of Survivor Africa (the third season) ;Ethan Zohn has been diagnosed with cancer =( Wish him well.

Stephen was a bigger rat than JT, and JT definitely made the right choice in taking Stephen instead of Erinn. Stephen is one of those people who cant keep his mouth shut and always has to reply, and it was his biggest downfall at the final tribal council. He carried on like a kid and it cost him whatever chance he had at the million.

I wonder how many votes Erin would of got? If she had won, it would of been a bit of an anti-climax though, she didn't even do much/get much air time. I would say Brendan and Tyson would of voted for Erinn, maybe Taj if she was blinded by dissapointment of the previous Tribal? And honestly, I have NFI which way Sierra would of went.

JT definitely made the right choice =D

Think Sierra would have voted for Erinn as well. Sierra had so much hate towards her, and Erinn was the only one who didnt vote out Sierra at Sierras final tribal council. Erinn definitely would have gotten more votes than Stephen against JT. Stephen who was good at strategy, is no social mastermind thats for sure. Once he opens his gob it all goes pear-shaped. Just comes across as slimy and calculating. He did have the best posture ive ever seen someone maintain though in those conditions for 40 days :o

Which seasons haven't you seen?

Also, even though Gabon has been spoiled for you, still give it a go. Tocantins is a better season but Gabon is quite interesting and extremely different. It's a very bitter, angry cast with plenty of evil and some good involved.

Finally the most deserving person wins without completely stuffing up the final tribal council. JT was head and shoulders above everyone else this season, and the fact he wasn't targeted post merge just shows that his social skills were every bit as good as his strategic and physical prowess. Stephan did his best in the tribal council but JT is a smart cookie and was never really in danger.

As someone who does a lot of presenting for a living I find it painful to watch some final tribal councils as people I thing should win completely **** it up. Watching Amanda lose twice in a row in China and Micronesia was excruciating as she butchered answer after answer. I'm convinced that if I was in her place she would be at least a million dollars richer today. Both times she played nearly the perfect game, but was utterly incapable of articulating this to either jury.

Coach really has got to be the biggest w***er ever to be on Survivor. His final trip to exile island followed by his pathetic collapse at the end of the immunity challenge was the stuff of delusional people in mental institutions. Telling Jeff that medical couldn't look at his back cos they would have to pull him from the game was laughable. His entire life is based upon lies and the bogus lie detector test fooled nobody. The kind of person I despise most in this world is a self righteous phony.

For those who wish for Survivor to be in an extreme cold climate, it would never work. On top of logistical nightmares producing it, it is much more difficult to survive in an extremely cold climate with only the clothes on your back, thus much more dangerous for competitors. Hypothermia and frostbite would be real issues, lack of food would accelerate weight loss, chest infections would be more likely with very cold air and a weak immune system, and creating and maintaining fire is much more difficult.

Also if it is very cold then people won't wander far from camp, thus the social and strategic aspect of the game would be greatly diminished IMO.

Ultimately it is the quality of the casting and richness of the social game that makes Survivor, not the locations. Get the right mix of people, give them a chance of surviving in an isolated wilderness, and the environment to be able to wander off in small groups and it doesn't matter where it is staged.

For those who have not seen Gabon you are not missing much. One of the most disappointing seasons in a long time. The location was very monotonous, the competitors overly stupid and poorly cast.

.

As I said before, of course there would have to be additional assistance given to the players, and who says it has to be an extremely cold climate? Just something a little different from the tropical island of bushy desert would be a nice, albeit not essential change!

Really enjoyed this season and thought JT was the most worthy winner of any season. Even though Coach was a raving lunatic he is the main reason that this season was so great.

On a side note my friends cousin has been forced to move her Wedding she is having in Samo in September, because the Survivor Juggernaut has taken over the hotel she had already booked and paid for:thumbsd:.
