Apologies for any inconvenience. We will try to find a replacement.
The only positive is if he kicked for goal like he should he has a 3 goal game.
But we just have these highly rated guys not doing enough.
Hanily as a rookie can go missing, Hayward just shouldn't be invisible as often as he is, ditto Florent, Papley etc . One good game a month isn't enough.
Believe me, I will be hating myself for saying so.
But fair is fair. Right now I feel like Rampe is our most suspect defender in terms of contesting 1v1s.
And we also have to accept that there is gonna come a time when Rampe won't be there. I think we should prepare for that scenario, while Rampe's actually still around as back-up who can come in at any time, rather than throw all the others off the deep end after Rampe retires.
Yeah and we’d all win the 100m sprint at the Olympics if we could run! He’s kicked like a dead set donkey I can cop a Campbell moss from 45m or 50m, but any competent forward should not be missing from 25m as often as Hayward does
Hayward had a good 2024 , so let's not pretend he is complete horse shit

A better 2024 than the other years yes. At some point though we can’t be that reliant on a guy who can’t kick consistently. If you are a forward you can’t be missing what are very easy set shots and let’s not pretend it’s a one off either.
Ramps has been solid this year, dealt with Amiss pretty easily yesterday.I don’t want to face the prospect of no Sir Dane.
I can’t
I won’t
Coaches Votes:
9 Josh Treacy (FRE)

I don’t see why all four can’t be in the same team, Rampe takes a mid/small/new kid and bully them and then frees him, Blakey and bice up to use their left pegs a bit more..
I would not be opposed to all four playing, with Rampe in that medium role, and we shuffle some deckchairs with the smalls so a flanker like Florent goes out.But would you rather Rampe taking a mid sized 4th target or Roberts /Blakey?

I interpreted your question as who misses out if all four of those defenders are fit, but in fairness to you I re-read your question and you did say "who plays", so yeah all four could play.
By the way, that kick backwards with 10 seconds left; how desperate were the umpires in calling that not 15 / play on? Two of them yelled it a couple of times, haha. No prizes for guessing why...
Absolutely. Got a few games, didn't embarrass himself at the level. Did some good things, dropped a few easy marks. You'll take it from these sort of 35th player in the list types. For sure but he has done well to play a few games this year, that's a win already

Papley in the Coaches votes at Optus Oval. Ridiculous that some on here wanted him dropped. Very short memories. My guess at the breakdown
Swans: 5 Treacy, 4 Warner, 3 Papley, 2 O'Meara, 1 Jordon
Freo: 5 Jordon, 4 Treacy, 3 O'Meara, 2 Warner, 1 Rowbottom
I agree. Definitely not anywhere near it.Whatever the coaches were smoking when they gave Papley votes must be some strong stuff.
He was better, but coming from a low bar. Still selective when he gave a crap about chasing and tackling.
I know the GF was only one game but I still can't get the memory of Ah Chee and Lohman comprehensively besting Rampe.I am watching the replay. I know I said I wouldn't. Not much better 2nd time around. Every time Sir Dane has a kick the opposition set up long and outnumber. They are ready for it every time because he kicks long every time.

No. But you send players who have been shite all year for a game. Rowie has been good two out of three. Paps is injured and should be recovering. Roberts has been good most of the time. Heeney has been ordinary on his bar. But the bar is high. Wilbur's bar is pretty low. 11 disposals, but it is the 4.4 tackles that is also very important.yep why not send Florent, Hayward, Paps, Grundy and Ill chuck in Roberts, Rowbottom, Heeney - who are all way down on last years performances
Send 'em all to the VFL.
Such reactionary BS
Yeah. What would they know about the game?Whatever the coaches were smoking when they gave Papley votes must be some strong stuff.

I'd be more concerned about the coaches memories having given Paps any votes in that game played yesterday.Papley in the Coaches votes at Optus Oval. Ridiculous that some on here wanted him dropped. Very short memories.
But Ryan absolutely blitzed us. I live Wil but he is just not in formNot just Ryan but also Pearce. It was like Pearce was 3metres tall out there at times
How to give votes based on name and reputationYeah. What would they know about the game?
