Whilst it was good win last night, next week against Sydney will be a real test. They are coming off a loss and we will not get the space and time to deliver the ball like we did last night.Once again our skills will be under pressure.
Let's not go back into our shells again....come out and take the game on Tiges. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:

This will be another BIG TEST

I the Swans lose i am going to be EXTREMELY worried. No offence to you guys but at the SCG the Swans should win comfortably and if they dont win heads will roll (i still cant believe Fremantle beat us ).

You guys lost to Freo, Bris and Saints, while edging out Carl and running over an undermanned Haw. I think we are a big chance

The Swans have our measure , they have smashed us the last few times we have played them. We only beat a lacklustre North dont get ahead of ourselves. Hope to see a few more younger guys get a chance to play. Hope they dont go back to playing Simmonds etc after one game back in the reserves. Hope the only changes are if a kid comes in. Would love to win but dont think we can just hope they dont get smashed.

We can. Come on Tiges. Let's get our season back on track

oh god a victory would be good
we'd go from looking to have to rebuild all over again, losing a coach and the worst club in the league to...maybe, just maybe still being in the running for the finals
what names are we getting back? Cousins? Cotch? Raines? Simmo?
I wouldn't mind if we keep the same rucks but i think Cousins and Cotch would be really important against the sydney midfield, with Kirk automatically taking out the top midfielder...
sydney aren't that great at all...lets keep the hopes up

Not sure North did have our measure , was not surprised the tigers won. Would of thought it was a more than winable game for us.
With sydney being beat by Freo , yeah perhaps it is now a winable game but think they are going alot better than North.

What he means is that we had not beaten North before last night under Terry's helm.
Sydney over there would be a huge huge win if we could pull it off.

Last 3 results between these two sides at the SCG have been 82, 66, 48 points for the Swannies. I expect a fair-dinkum effort from the Tiges but history says it's probably the worst ground for you.

how many of our current side have been on the end of those, you know Bart Cummings hadn't won a melbourne cup for a while either...it's always what lies ahead my friend, living in rear vision is a fools frustration:eek:

Reckon we'd be a better show at ANZ than SCG. More chance for our runners to use their pace. Big bodies a worry. But will be there - would have to be better than last year. That was a looong day at the footy.

Must've been the first time we've played North for a long time, when it wasn't some kind of emotional milestone for them... usually someone's father has just passed away, or someone is playing their first game back and retiring after a life threatening experience, etc.

Sheesh, they always seemed to have a reason to come out and fire up against us... I guess this time, at least the whole ANZAC thing was mutual for the two teams ;)

Oh, and of course we had the whole Cogs thing going on :thumbsu:

If we continue to play experienced players then I will continue to hope we lose for the sake of the long-term. If we tank and win then I would be rapt with that.

WHAT EXPERIENCED PLAYERS????. Bowden? Richo? who do we drop??? 2 plwers over 30. BIG F#$%KING DEAL.

So did you want us to lose or win??? considering we played the kids???

I was barracking for Richmond to win this game once Richardson was off. Nahas, Riewoldt and Collins were real highlights. Don't want to win many more though.
