Taylor Walker vs Michael Hurley

Simple poll, who will be the better player by the end of their respective careers.

From what I've seen, they're both really talented footballers who have a massive potential to become very dominant Key Position players.
Walker has a bucketload of talent but hasn't been able to deliver anywhere near as consistently as Hurley.
Hurley is also more versatile as he was drafted as a backman and then Hawthorn and Brisbane discovered he could play forward too

Hurley has potential to be a Forward or back focal point. Walker is better suited to a 3rd tall forward which with the emergence of Tippett, he can be with Davis or McKernan at CHF.

Based on that I will say Hurley. I reckon Walker has more talent though

I haven't heard anyone, including Essendon supporters, ever mention playing Hurley as a FF. What a complete waste of talent that would be.

He's only played one good game that you have seen, it's understandble you only watch your shit mob, but at least you can admit he was good. You're making progress.



I voted Hurley of course. I do think Walker will be a top player, but Hurley's composure and ability to swing both ends of the ground is something special.

I don't understand this comment. Hurley has had 1 great game where he went forward and kicked 4 second half goals to be a match winner and get his team into the finals for the first time in several years. But he has been consistantly good in pretty much every game he has played.

Walker is also talented, but will have limited opportunity to prove himself at the Crows with their current setup, with Hentchell and Burton coming good. Once those blokes are moved on Walker will be able to show what hes got.

Walker will be a better goalkicker without a shadow of a doubt, but Hurley will be the better footballer. He has more strings to his bow in terms of playing as a defender and taking contested marks.
