One at a time is fine even if he does end up playing 2-3 more. The cliff can come very quickly for any player, especially a KP.

Goals averages and kicking accuracy can be compared with any forward no matter height or age. It’s not rocket science!

Anyway, I can at least take comfort in the fact Graham Cornes in his 7 News segment. He says:
“Tex...he’s never played better”.

It really isn’t just the 3 games this year, but his entire run in 2021 that’s carrying onto this year. That’s what’s got me excited. Like, I want to give Tex a cuddle, kind of excited.

Graham Cornes also said that Essendon didn't dope. You agree with that too?

It would be pretty interesting if Tex ends up winning the Coleman (still possible with the form he’s in). The club might end up giving him a 2 year contract perhaps? Hard to imagine a Coleman medalist getting only a 1 year contract extension.

I agree that 1 year deals would be preferable. I think that should be standard for any player over 30. If some other club did come knocking and offering him 2 or more years, that would be a bit of a conundrum. Most players would take the extra security.

Imagine if he went to a Vic club. Their media hacks would be writing redemption arc fan fiction in no time.

You did that the moment you compared them to say that Tex is in good form.

Not comparing to any of the benchmarks for top key forwards, you know the Hawkins, Naughton, Franklin and Danniher of this world, instead we get a comparison to a small forward. Something that is incomparable to a key forward.

I'd be thrilled for Tex to go around 2 more times, especially if hes playing like this. Feel like we are finally seeing him hit the sweet spot that I never thought we got to see due to injury and his former playing weight.

So much so when my 9 year old Nephew asked me who my favourite player on the weekend I immediately answered with Tex. It was in micro-seconds.

I even surprised myself a little at how quickly I answered.
