While it's somewhat disappointing on a selfish basis by us, the good thing is that the AFC are not going to risk a valuable item in Walker in a nothing game unless he's 100% right. :thumbsu:

We want Walker up and running when we're playing for premiership points - the rest is irrelevant.

I agree Macca.
I am disapointed he isnt playing, but very happy we havent done the drill like Mcleod is doing and having a chance of getting injured. :thumbsu:

So what injury is it? Will he play NAB Cup?

The Crows have experimented with new structures and ball patterns this pre-season and Craig said his side would endeavour to test them out in the wet conditions forecast.

"With some of the players playing in the Indigenous side, it limits us to a certain extent because we were keen to have a look at Petrenko and also Jacky up forward," Craig said.

"That’s not going to occur, but you’ll still see Taylor Walker. And Nick Gill has been on the track for pretty much all of the pre-season, which with all due respect to Nick is unusual for him.

Now your not just taking the piss are ya Tails, just to get a reaction

Of course caution must be used for all players with the slightest niggle during pre-season, but getting as much match practice into Tex as possible is crucial for him having half a go this year.

yeah i have read Tails14's previous posts and his record is impressive, well i guess if Walker is ruled out its best to look at the positives. Them being players like Sellar and McKernan getting more game time.

He did everything at training last night and looked fine. I guess we'll have to wait and see. I'll keep an eye out to see whether he is warming up.

Lets just hope the Broken Hill media just got a little bit over zelous when they heard about him doing sprint tests at Wednesday's training.

Well if that is the case you would think he would be playing tonight. Did he seem at all restricted during training?

Nice work on the early tip off Tails :thumbsu:

Would have been nice if Hentschel could have come in in place of Tex. Medicos cleared him but the club has decided to err on the side of caution. Seems like he's always going to be another week away. Hopefully he doesn't have any more setbacks prior to the Geelong game.
