Blaming the victim because the perp was from your team. Pretty typical of WC supporters.
I didn't start a thread when de goooey took out Hewitt. I remember the game in its purest form when you needed spacial awareness or the obvious would happen. It's been taken out of the game for the most part but some kids just recklessly put themselves in stupid positions.

I agree with you that it's very sad and tragic when a young, innocent victim cops an injury- not only from sheer stupidity, but also an admirable reckless abandon.

I wish we could come up with an ideal solution, but enough is enough with the sanitation of the beautiful game of AFL.

This craziness must stop somewhere.

You don't want players getting the green light for this conduct so imo Ginbey needs a suspension.

The more I look at the video, the more I realise it was a deliberate act from Ginbey. His timing was perfect to inflict damage to Lalor's head.
The more I look at it, the more I can see that Lalor just straight up ran full pace in a straight line and got cleaned up by Brock coming back with the flight.

Also, just quote your own OP next time instead of sending us to some random post you made on The Roar.

Firstly, it's nice that we understand following precedent is logical and makes for clearer systems and decisions. Strangely enough the afl doesn't care about using prior rulings as a guide to future rulings

Second, if the AFL wants to charge someone then rough conduct is so vague and murky enough that it covers pretty much everything. It's the miscellaneous catch all much like the "bringing the game into dispute" is for off field stuff.

Big footy polls are full of old blokes and in this case WC supporters.
Besides that ,the poll still has 33% wanting a suspension.
What's the point of making a poll then?

This might be the best thing I've ever read on this website.

Thankyou Tony. I trust you have seen this masterpiece.

I just hope that you calm down enough to get a solid night's sleep. I know what it's like to be super agitated.

My advice would be, if you find yourself unable to doze off, read a good book.

Always helps me get a good night sleep.

I normally watch Richmond's 2024 highlights.

It's not a very long video.

I can't believe they're letting a hardened criminal like him walk the streets.
