For the first time in years, we have a genuine interest in the count. Where do we think Gawn and Clarry will finish? Will Hogan and TMac take votes off them in the first and second halves of the season respectively? Will Gus come hard towards the end of the count?

I think Clarry will poll well, possibly nab a top 2-3 finish, but think Mitchell will win it all. I'm skeptical about rucks getting votes, really hope Gawn is the exemption.

Will be funny if Gawn wins, I think he'll come down hard on himself for yesterday. I'd back him in though, reckon he's a v good shout. Polled 18 votes in 2016 and has a bigger and better profile now.

I love the people who predict anything with certainty when it comes to the Brownlow ... this isn't the 80's, there is absolutely ZERO chance anyone other than the umpires involved know who got the votes.

Ruck taps would have to be the hardest things for umpires to pick up ... one of them is bent over bouncing the ball, the others are busy getting ready to pay free kicks against Melbourne midfielders for apparently holding.
