Would look nice on the bar.how about get off the 7 star metaxa?
Just on the topic of footy shows, back in the late 60s, early 70s Channel 7 used to have a Friday night panel show on which there was civilised discussion about the upcoming round of footy. The panel was made up of ex-players but there was no-one acting the clown. Obviously TV networks have decided that AFL fans are no longer interested in civilised discussion about the upcoming weekend's games.
Not if it means more Whateley and Mark Robinson.Just on the topic of footy shows, back in the late 60s, early 70s Channel 7 used to have a Friday night panel show on which there was civilised discussion about the upcoming round of footy. I referred to civilised discussion. The word 'civilised' shouldn't be used in the same sentence as Mark Robinson, while Whateley doesn't really pariticpate in 'discussion', he just tries to impart his opinion onto everyone. Not if it means more Whateley and Mark Robinson.
I also enjoyed League Teams, although I did feel in the latter days of this show that Dyer, Davis & Richards had all started to drink their own bathwater.Used to love watching these 3 legends msr.

Definitely not bathwater!I also enjoyed League Teams, although I did feel in the latter days of this show that Dyer, Davis & Richards had all started to drink their own bathwater.
More like senility becoming apparent I reckon. Jack and Bob had no idea by the end. Louie had to carry it.I also enjoyed League Teams, although I did feel in the latter days of this show that Dyer, Davis & Richards had all started to drink their own bathwater.
Those were the days. In depth stuff. And the same after a game with no circles and crosses over a still shot.Just on the topic of footy shows, back in the late 60s, early 70s Channel 7 used to have a Friday night panel show on which there was civilised discussion about the upcoming round of footy. Can’t get out of the way of there own ego’s and bias.I referred to civilised discussion. The word 'civilised' shouldn't be used in the same sentence as Mark Robinson, while Whateley doesn't really pariticpate in 'discussion', he just tries to impart his opinion onto everyone.
One of the most unwatchable programs on TV. The mere sight of Robbo turns me off, as does the sound of Whateley's voice. Can’t get out of the way of there own ego’s and bias.
It’s strange how people block posters they don’t know, for picking on them. Going off the tone of this post, I’m sure your comments to him were polite and measured. I would have blocked you too.
don't let's ever forget how good 25 was when he was on song - fast, brutally big, hands like stilsons and accurate like peter mckenna - he was a joy to watch
People make choices good and bad. In the safety industry we try and reduce risk but we cannot for human stupidity. What I'm saying is let people make decisions, you can't protect people from alcohol. If it's not on telly it's down the street at the BBQ wherever.
