Some odd stuff. No idea how anyone could be interested in that game. So stilted and amateurishly produced.

after seeing fev play at afl level i found it surprising that he was not picked up before landing at our pick 38.
not sure what he was like before afl but it seems pagan was able to settle him down a bit when he replaced Brittain (who wanted to trade him).Hindsight is 20/20, but would it seem unreasonable to assume that there were red flags about Fev’s lifestyle and issues with the Pingers (aka booze) back then.
Then again, a 2 time premiership and Brownlow medal winner and Champion of the game, Adam Goodes fell to 43 in his draft year, so who knows for sure ?
Would have loved Goodes in Navy Blue, alas que sera sera
Except Bower, wouldn’t matter if he was developed by some of the best clubs/greats player development systems he was a very very ordinary player and selection for that matter... A dear in the headlights no poise with ball in hand always seemed hesitant and rushed, his defensive game all round was shocking, defensive positioning bodywork were very poor and his round house attempted spoiling efforts were a comedy act...

Understanding every player who is drafted and plays at the elite level no matter how many they play is a fantastic effort within itself... by no means was i trying too downplay the hard efforts he gave to play at afl level but i stand by my comments, a little harsh maybe for some people but that’s how i seen his career... do you think it was unfair or inaccurate?Let this be an inspiration to all the current Carlton players.
Play your cards right and you can remain in the thoughts of Carlton fans many years after you are delisted....
Logic is not on the side of the anti-Goodes contingent.Would have been horrible having a multiple Brownlow medalist, B&F winner and multiple All Australian running around during that time of need.

Great player Meb, but i thought he lost his marbles at the end. One game against us i swore he thought he had a spear in his hand.Goodesy was a cracking good player. Just got into the diving at the end of his career but Murphy does it too so![]()
