Very cold in Melbourne today. Thick fog until mid afternoon and hasn't made it into double figures yet  Was only around 7 degrees in my area for most of the day.

Jeepers!! It dropped to 8.3 degrees in Melbourne at 4pm when some hail came through. To state the bleeding obvious, that's fakn cold for November, even for Melbourne. It got up to 13.9 when the sun was out earlier.

The coldest Melbourne November day on record is 11 degrees

Give me a belt of 40 degree-ers any day over this shit.

That's jumping from one extreme to the next.....Just an entire month 0f 22-25 degrees Celsius would do me nicely.

It was fairly chucking it down with hail-stones yesterday on the Great Ocean Road.

Yeah, I could definitely live with that too! :thumbsu: At least the farmers and the water catchments are benefitting from this.

Hmm if only there was place where for most of the year this was the case 🤔

my gf’s eldest son who moved from here to melb this year was texting last night saying it was nuts.

Idk whats everyone going on about the hail. I didnt see any hail :( :(

Christmas was cancelled! My son was due to work but the whole event was cancelled due to the crappy weather.

Several heavy hail bursts blasted the city yesterday afternoon in weather more akin to winter than late spring.
The mercury only reached a high of 14.1C at 2.17pm yesterday, falling to a chilly 8C by 6.18pm.
Nearly 7mm of rain fell at Geelong Racecourse during the day.

Over 20 and under 30 everyday for the year would be beautiful. Anything else is shit too cold or too hot.
In Melbourne 22 is too hot for central heating in Qld its cold for regular temp.
27 seems about right to me in qld
35ish as it is the last 2 days is too hot
