Yep- does not bode well for my friend getting married 2 weeks on a Saturday. Past 2 Saturdays now have been shite.

I haven't been in -40, but -10 is certainly preferable to +40.

'Saturday' is a totally made up human invention that has no relation to any weather cycles.

November is a fixed time of year - but the weather can do allsorts!

In Far North Queensland during that cold snap a week ago we had a low of 14! We don't even own pants and doonas! We aren't accustomed! Our blood can't handle!

Whereas when I lived in Canberra the -5 night was fairly routine by now. What have you done with my body FNQ!
