So how would you describe some one born in Europe, grew up in Melbourne lives up the north end of Queensland and thinks that’s the perfect climate

Thanks. Hmmm, it's much more of a thing than I realised, and probably makes my "points of interest" irrelevant. HaAs for getting warmer due to Melbourne becoming a more built up city.
This is indeed a thing.

Yep, the last time I went looking for those daily stats, which was a long time ago, the Bureau said I had to pay for it, so I'm not sure how long it's been available for free.Btw i've also had a fiddle around Climate data online.
It's a great site!.

So, not one of the lowest minimums translated to the lowest maximum. That's kinda weird.
I experienced something pretty cool on the weekend. We drove up Haleakala volcano in Maui. Would have been about 28 degrees at the base. It's one of the largest inclines in a short amount of space in the world. You see the same range of climates as you would driving from Canada to Mexico. At the top it was probably about 14 degrees. I didn't realize it until I looked it up but at 10,023ft it's the highest I would have been on Earth. Weird to think that you can just drive up it but it's 3,000ft higher than the peak of Whistler.
Struggled to get out of bed. Any tips?Thank god our heater has been fixed. Bloody cold this morning
