People who cheat in pub quizzes are dickheads

I couldn't prove it, but I swear the people who won the last one I went to were cheating. They knew how many bones there were in the human skull, which I called bullshit on. Nobody knows that without looking it up.

I thought that was as good a guess as any but then it turned out to be right...

Funnily enough I seem to remember the date now.. but at the time I just didn't know how or why you'd know something l ike that...

The Quiz Meisters ones (I think the Hackney is one of theirs) are usually pretty good. Light hearted and good range of questions.

I used to do that at the Leicester while a few of us went down the beer list.

What are some of the better quiz team names? One team there were called Quiz in my Pants which was quite clever. Borussia Munchonballsack unfortunately didn't make it through the censors.

It goes after a while, and it leaves a note on the kitchen table telling you she doesn't love you anymore and can't face the life you've built together, that it's a facade and she needs something more, something real, she needs to find herself, trapped in a loveless marriage, and when you read the note suddenly you see how quiet it is and you start to breath quicker, trying not to panic, thinking why after all you sacrificed to make her happy, and you have to put the tv on to break the silence that's burning your heart black
