Fat lady is yoedelling her head off.
Strikers didn't fire a shot.
Deja vu. Just like last year.

Just didn't get going after early wickets.

Said a few games ago I would have dropped ludman down the order... But probably the underdone jayawardene & putland more of an issue.

Just not good enough when it mattered.

Hi everyone,

We have just moved back to Adelaide (lived overseas for past 14 years) and now live in Medindie Gardens.

Where would I be able to get the best Pizza and Indian take away food around that area.

Yes, I will be asking the tough questions.
For Italian style pizza, Bliss Pizzeria on Melbourne Street or cafe Allegria on Payneham Road for great food, including pizza.

Batting first and setting 160 in a final is pretty good.

Bowling, fielding and captaincy was a shambles

Batting was 20 runs light imo as never really got going... But agree should have done better bowling though koala made it look easy. He could have chased down 200+ with his ease of striking...

No doubt - brilliant knock. But he was dropped on 23, and Hodge chose to bowl out spud Putland with Holland and Head, meanwhile our best 2 bowlers were held back until the game was gone.

Very poor defending a decent total
Wasn't it Putland's first game of the year? You could tell he was rusty as hell yet Hodge kept bowling him.

We simply lost too many wickets too cheaply and too early. Got going later on in our innings, but then Khawaja was just too classy a batsman to contain, the Thunder kept chipping in the singles and we only took two lousy wickets. The Strikers saved their worst bloody game for a home final after having finished top. Again. Frankly, that is disrespectful to me as as a fan (even a somewhat casual fan) and the other 48,000 people.

I think our bowling was the major problem last night.
Only 2 decent bowlers in our side are Laughlin and Rashid. The others are just OK.
We were desperately missing Richardson and they were lucky to have Kwaja playing considering he is definitely ODI standard.

Who was the Australian selector who decided to release Khawaja just before the Semis?

Correct me if I'm wrong but I reckon with just 8 overs left Rashid and Laughlin both still had 2 overs each. The game was pretty much gone at that point. Rashid bowled his final over when there was just a few runs to get and Laughlin still had 1 not bowled.

They are 2 of the BBL's best bowlers - unforgivable captaincy
