Armstrong had a pretty good 2002. He was injured in the Bali Bombings and was never quite the same player 03 onwards. I think a lot of people forget that.

For a little while in 2002 it was looking like we would have a gun midfield/ centre four of Woewodin, Powell, Arma & Thompson for at least 5 years.....

McLean, Bate, Sylvia and Moloney sh*t all over that though.

Congrats on getting Armstrong! I was hoping that if he was around at pick #22 we could get him, but obviously the club thinks we need more tall blokes so we picked up Seaby from West Perth. Armstrong will be a winner for you guys - similar to Woewodin in fact. Just hope he comes home in 2 or 3 years

This is classic. Its great to read past comments. In all honesty there really isn't any way to tell how a young blokes career will go in AFL. Molan was a very good junior, had no luck whatsoever. So its difficult to tell.
I always get pretty excited hearing about the new draftees, I wouldn't say I blow my load though as previously stated, although when we got Sylvia and Mclean there might've been a dribble.
