As good as the original comment deserved, no doubt. I think you've just flushed yourself, grayham. Lucky you're a plumber, eh.

You seem to have some class issues with me being a plumber. From what lofty perch do you believe you look down upon me?
Arts Student perhaps?

Whenever the old roy boys gets started about Fitzroy, you can almost hear the violins warming up.
They try to outdo each other in personal suffering.

Listen mate it is not purely about having a go at others who complain that things ain't right with their club. it's about reminding people that they still have a club. Fitzroy was taken from the competition by the AFL and sent to Brisbane to merge. Yes the club did have problems on and off the field but the debts were actually no bigger than other clubs, and definitely smaller than alot of clubs now.

You can say we have Brisbane and although it is great it is still not quite the same.

So have a look in your own backyard and consider is a couple of bad seasons the same as having to watch most of the season on TV because there are only 7 games in Victoria.

Bad seasons may come and go but you still have your original club.

I reckon you might be onto something there..

I never mentioned anything of the sort. You're succumbing to your own paranoia now! :p

I was disapointed after the GF but proud. Collingwood fans were humble in defeat, we said all along the better team won.

I don't know one Collingwood fan who is content with living on the GF performance. We boosted our squad with a quality player and we know every team is even on the ladder atm

Interesting..

Quotes from Stocka:
"Stick to clearing ****e out of drains. At least you are mixing with your own type then (if not a class or two above you - although, at least then you'll have something to aspire to).
"

and

"I don't see much point in trying to explain it to the likes of yourself."

Do you see "class" and "aspire to" and "above you", and "like of yourself".

Again, what position do you hold to support such comments?

Mate, you're paranoid. My comments about you being a plumber are no more degrading than you intended your comments about Fitzroy supporters to be. Happy?

If you're upset, cry me a river.

Barry who?

Porthos, come back to the Mott debate.... please :D
Is there anything more to be said on the topic? Non-Sydney fans seem to reckon the Swans have screwed up, Sydney fans are now happy to bag Mott and convince themselves that their club has done the right thing, and you tried to use some rubbish percentages to obfuscate the fact that delisting an uncontracted Ricky Mott wanting better pay after playing 17 games in his first year is quite possibly a part of the Swans' cost cutting.

Is there anything else to resolve?

Whatever. I never said Fitzroy supporters were second class citizens, or that sulking was in anyway poor behaviour.

Not in this thread. I think you were alone with your salary cap theory.

Yes, I'm quite sure you meant it in a positive sense.

Anyway, I never said anything derogatory about plumbers.

Who is paranoid now. Any disinfrancised groups tend to wallow a lot.

Yes you did imply plumbers were of a lower class than (shall we say Art Students), and plenty of derogatory things about me which is totally out of order.

Why start a thread deliberately to try and cause trouble and create an argument?

I assume you've never read any of Rohan's threads before.

I'm just stunned that his fixation is now extending to Hawthorn.

Glad to see you are supportive of, and positive for Fitzroy supporters then. Although, I'd dispute the perception that we are disenfranchised, considering that most Fitzroy supporters have found at least one entity since 1996, which caters for their needs.

If you'd read my earlier post (reply to MarkT), you would already know my views on the topic, which possibly would have assisted you in avoiding making a fool of yourself afterwards.

No, I had a go at you over your ridiculous comments on this thread. I may have mentioned the fact that you are a plumber, but when did I equate my comments to plumbers as a whole?

This has become your latest hobby-horse, no doubt.

The spornstar,

Leave hawkfan5 alone. You seem to have caught the same sort of disease as Rohan.

This thread is full of whinging Collingwood supporters who are having a go at Hawthorn Football Club.

Hobby horse? Everyone has their hobby horses. It would appear Fitzroy is yours.

My hobby horses, if you want to call them that, advocating the AFL become less vic centric, defending the leveling up of teams from NSW and QLD, and winding up feral collingwood supporters. In some threads all three happen at once! :D

Next time I'll take notice of your avatar and see someone who's a little uptight, and tends to get personal over some relatively harmless generalisation.

Yes, glad you noticed it. I don't see that as a problem, especially on a website called BigFooty.

No necessarily anything I am against . . .

Isn't that a generalisation in itself?

At any rate, your reponses in this topic have pretty much applied a similar scenario over your own head.

So why the hobby horse remark?

Sentences like this make it impossible to understand a word you are saying.

I think that Stocka's avatar is funny and looks good.

Grayham,

Stop picking on Stocka. He is very loyal to his old team Fitzroy. There is a lot of respect there and I feel that if you hurt Stocka, you are hurting a lot of former Fitzroy fans with your disrespectful comments.

Just remember there is a lot of history that goes with Fitzroy and if anyone hurts their supporters you are hurting the history.

Forgive me for over-estimating your comprehension skills. I could have said: "The same can be said for you". Is that simplifying things enough for you?

c ocky, pretentious, soft and accepting of below par peformances.

Their club has only been successful in a 20 year period of it's entire history. Perhaps the softest club and supporters in the AFL.

Got carried away with it's top 4 berth in 2001. Fans and the club itself thought 2002 would be a walk up start for the flag. Once again, very reflective of their club.

I agree with most of that. But they wouldn't have the worst coach atm.

So do I, and I am not picking on Stocka. But Fitzroy and their supporters are not some holy cow above being commented on.

There is no way anyone with even the highest qualifications in English could have translated that single sentence to "The same could be said for you".
Its only that that phrase has been recuring in your posts that I was able to guess.
