HFF mids play face the most difficult kick in football - inside 50 or to the 50-100m zone.

All players in this area will suffer statistically without rotating to hb.

Also, Fyfe's stats began before Ross Lyon, so you can't blame the gameplan.

Lets watch him play in about half an hour or so without looking at meaningless stats aye ? Lets see if this dud can actually play or not

Dangerfields DE% is only 3% better than Fyfes 2 duds right there throw cotchin in there as well the dud

I don't think anyone can take you seriously after this statement.

No-one does mate, never.

Agree with pen1 regarding Priddis, absolute monster in the clearances, and I am amazed that some of you want to trade him. I'd love him in the purple :thumbsu:

Same style of player. Fyfe is alot better though

Why the hell would Eagles want another player who cant kick for though?

So you are on record as saying you would not want Fyfe at the Weages ?

Tell you what, put a poll up on your board and let's check the results.

Wouldnt want him for what he would cost/he wouldnt add enough to the side to warrant getting him.

He is a decent player, dont ge me wrong. He just isnt All Australian calibre and believe it or not, he isnt a perfect footballer

If you dont think he would become a better footballer if he went from 58% to say 70% then your insane in all reality

Thread title -
The most ignored stat in the AFL - Nathan Fyfes disposal efficiency

Last paragraph of OP: it seems to me people judge him on stats

Could you possibly sound any more stupid.

Meant disposal stats

As in I missed one word

If you can ignore the whole thread to make that 1 point then in reality you dont have much of a football brain. Atleast throw some relevant stats up like some Freo fans have done. You know, a debate and all that

Will take him awhile to go from a outside mid to an inside mid. He is still in the transition stage and add to the fact that he has been injured the past few years isn't helping. Give him another season than compare how he goes against other inside midfielders. He is a a unique inside mid who can not only contest the ball but pull in a hanger etc. unheard of for an insider.

The ironic thing in all this is I can find quotes from you saying you didnt mind Rhys Palmer leaving because he cant kick. Infact I can find that from all Freo fans.

Rhys Palmers DE has been better then Fyfes throughout his entire career.

This proves one thing. People use disposal effiency as a stat when it suits them

Being unique doesnt = superstar. It does too simpletons but id like to think we are all above that

Its why all the Naitanui love in the first 2 years was cringeworthy until the past few years when he finally turned uniqueness into outstanding measurable output

Well you are the one comparing Rosa to Fyfe so you shouldn't go around accusing people of not having a football brain.

Thing is I don't only use DE stats when rating a player.

You are just in one of your trolling moods embers, fire away because even your own are agreeing that you are making a goose of yourself.

Then why did that form the basis of opinion regarding Rhys Palmers departure?

You dont use DE stats unless it suits your argument is what your looking for.

I haven't posted anything of the sort about him being a superstar... derp. I simply said he is in transition mode from being an outside mid to an inside mid. These take time and with time comes experience, with experience comes time and so forth. He is unique? are you questioning that? Go watch some footy mate and lay of the beers.
