The 'Negatives/Vent/Grievances thread

"What the hell is this, we just won by 100 points, why the **** would you start a negatives thread" one might ask. However, i was waiting for an opportunity when everything was going perfectly for this suggestion.

At the moment, we are in the four, our forward line is working in cohesion perfectly. Our midfield just tore it up, with great performances from our ruckmen, and to top it all off, we stopped three capable talls with our missing FB.

However, when times can go sour, the Carlton Board can turn into a 'Richmond'esque board. We all love our beloved Blues, and are predominately positive bunch of individuals. So, the suggestion is for this thread to be stickied. When an individual has to grieve about a certain player/strategy etc, it can go in this thread.

The intention of this, is not for constructive criticisms to be abolished, rather for general grievances after a poor performance from the team/individual.

This is just a suggestion for the mods, whereby their judgment is not construed by a poor performance, rather a rational one. Feel free to delete the thread if it is unsuited

That was the point. This thread was more of a 'sticky for the rest of the season', rather than for this week.

Yes, that was pretty f***en average as well. Luckily we didn't need to have the umpires decisions to help sway a game one-way-or-the-other. I probably would of suffered a stroke if that was the case.

actually have a half serious one.
has anyone else noticed that we tire in 4th quarters.
in the last 3 weeks the swans made the scoreboard closer than the game indicated (admittedly a few injuries that day) west coast kicked away as we looked tired (game played 5-10% off out best) and today we switched off in the end of the last half.
not a concern as the result were for the most part settled.

are we switching off because we can afford to or are we going to struggle to run out the tougher games?

This thread isn't dedicated to the performance against Richmond. Who could possibly vent on the most complete match in a very, very long time. This thread is dedicated to the rest of the season as a sticky.

If the mods don't want to sticky this thread. Than please feel free to delete it. It was just an idea, so the Carlton Bigfooty board wasn't constantly filled with pessimistic, narcissistic and abusive comments.

Sensational game by the boys yesterday. Mitch Robinson just sets the standard and when he's in playing, we're just a much hungrier, harder side.


I've been a big critic of Robbie Warnock this year, but he was just brilliant yesterday. He'll get fitter and his confidence will build, but he was just amazing with his taps and his efforts yesterday.

Murphy is just a little start. He's taken it to the next level if that was even possible.

Gibbs. I'm still not the biggest fan. His goal where he pushed off a Tiger, sidestepped another was pure brilliance, but he's just not hard enough. Too many times yesterday, he just stood back at packs and hover around like he is scared of the ball. I'd love to see him go in hard, lay the big tackles, put his body on the line.

Someone buy Gibbs a helmet please.
