I've just started watching The Office in the last couple of weeks, so this is good timing for me. Fair play, Crows. This is great.
That's excellent!
Kudos Adelaide.

It's actually very well done isn't it.....nailed the awkwardness particularly well. That's excellent!

I'm about 5 seasons into the US version and I'm not sure I'm going to watch the UK one. There's something about Gervais I really don't like. That very brief and subtle look at the camera in the first talking head shows a true understanding of The Office.
Great stuff.
Watch both versions though, both great.
UK one is significantly better IMO. Much more realistic scenarios that happen and Gareth, assistant to the manager, is magnificent.I'm about 5 seasons into the US version and I'm not sure I'm going to watch the UK one. There's something about Gervais I really don't like.

David Brent far more creepier too, so awkward.
US needs popular shows to run long enough for syndication after all. This is almost Bigfooty's favourite secondary discussion.
UK one is strong from start to finish, if anything it ends at its peak.
US one starts weak, gets strong for a while then limps to the line in its final years.
Typically the UK is a dozen or so episodes total, the US one must've been nearer 100 episodes.
I don't think Brent was creepy but very awkward indeed.

This is fascinating from professional race agitator and Critical Race Theory proponent Shae McNamara on the Lumumba/Collingwood stuff.
Makes a few posters here look pretty ordinary.
Soo, that answers the age old question of, do you spit or swallow.
Interesting, we were obviously in the box seat to get him, hope it doesn't bite us on the arse!Missed a trick not adding him as a Cat B in 2019.
Isaac Smith did, Jake Riccardi did, this might become rule of three.Interesting, we were obviously in the box seat to get him, hope it doesn't bite us on the arse!
Fully Sick Man???
really? I recon he is a master of playing that awkward cringeworthy character. maybe he is to good at it?I'm about 5 seasons into the US version and I'm not sure I'm going to watch the UK one. There's something about Gervais I really don't like.
Couldn’t agree more. Gervais pretty much invented the genre. This’ll sound odd but, I also think it’s his only acting role that you don’t think of him as RG playing a role. .... everything else he has done I just see Gervais.really?
