Any decent pubs in Perth/Northbridge or possibly Subi or something that’ll show the A-League GF? Help ASAP bras. Like a decent pub, not a sports bar. Cheers. It’s a Saturday night and it seems dead. Thanks.

If someone said 'super' to me at the pub I'd know exactly what they meant, but I wouldn't go to the bar and order a 'jug of super' and assume that the person behind the bar would know what it meant.
Considering the average bar person is 22...

I would never presume to suggest anything to you brah as 9/10 things are overrated and I don't want to seem uncool.

I don’t want to go to Patriots or The Game.

I don’t want to go to some Oirish pub.

Like why can’t there be a normal pub with a decent, normal selection of tap beers and pub food and some screens? Like, why not?!

You could go to the Norfolk, Nash, Sail and Anchor, Newport... or the South Beach Hotel or Local.

But none of them would be a 'decent, normal' pub to you.
Oo oo I was going to suggest the South Beach Hotel but a) it wasn't in his stipulated suburbs and b) I'm pretty sure he rubbished the shit out of it last time I mentioned it.

Are you old enough to go to a pub?

Let alone wise enough to know what they are about?

I do not have a daughter, but I know what I would advise her of if I did.

Why Northbridge
Plenty of suburban pubs playing it but otherwise the Brass monkey is showing it

The WA Armadale pub at Haynes is a great spot.

,
The police know not to booze bust around there or pay the price.

Armadale is like pirate Nassau.

Irish pubs generally don't like showing A League.

Rosie O Gradys is the Celtic supporters hub in Perth and the other one down the road is more interested in rugby.

The more "hipster" bars just don't do sport at all.

The trashy Northbridge pubs are your best bet unfortunately.

I would probably say that due to our timezone it just isn't worth being a sports bar in Perth.

In the US they have so many sports bars because there is pretty much never not a relevant match of something to see.
