Anyone done a spiro test for a employment medical ?

Had to exhale everything out of my lungs. It had to be as hard as possible for 7 seconds over 3 reputations. I didn't get past 4 seconds every attempt and failed it. Had to do it over this tube that keeps your mouth open so there's no resistance and all the air comes out. Hardest thing I've had to do.

After centuries of commitment to smoking durries I have COPD and emphysema. This was tolerable until getting fxgjsiding Covid in August. I have an immune deficiency issue and catch things like a sticky fingered first slip pocketing nicks. Had been ultra careful and still wear masks for which I have been abused several times in the ridiculous bourgeois Bayside suburb where it is my misfortune to live.

So yes I have done that test a few times when I used to see specialists. Fe,xjk them all I say.

I got an email about it today from my new employer stating it wont affect my hiring but they want me to see a GP as the employment medical company are worried how bad the result was lol. I think I just sucked at it technique wise.

I had Pneumonia 12 months ago. Maybe it's still lurking in there.

It is hard. I had to do one once when the doctor wanted to check if I had asthma. I thought I was going to pass out by the end of it from blowing so hard.

It's very difficult, so don't feel weird about failing it. I remember doing it the night before and smashing it thinking it was easy, got in the building to do it and finally got it on the 4th or 5th go.

Maybe you were anxious and it affected it.
