you feed your cat a lot

Sure it's an open secret but does everyone know? Surely most would be under the impression that's its an organic interview rather than the guests being given their lines?
Marvelous Mrs.Maisel (which is a fantastic TV show i would recommend) adresses this. She winds up writing for a late night show and her mother is shocked to find out the host doesnt just come up with the material on the fly.

I think its known to people who are interested in that stuff but probably not widely known.
Why do bogans wear their sunglasses upside down on the back of their necks?
I usually put them on the back of my head or in my collar. If you put them on your forehead (ish) they can get hair product on them.

To me its always seemed practical.

what if mullet means long hair and hair product on hair at back of neck? what then?

I remember being shocked to find out that Australia's Funniest Home Video Show had a writing staff. Dan Ilic was one of them.

I figure these days, any entertainment show where the host says something funny has a backroom of joke writers
I remember when Bill Simmons was the star writer for ESPN's page 2 website in the early 2000s (in his 'Boston Sports Guy' days) and I devoured everything he wrote, even on sports I had little-to-zero interest about, because he just captured the passion/insanity of the regular sports fan so well. Then he moved to LA to write for Jimmy Kimmel's show and he went from like three columns a week to one a fortnight on ESPN.

There were reports saying that Tyson, Boston Rob, and Coach were all asked not to vote out Russell in HvV, and they’d be given their own seasons to win in
I'll call bollocks. Just casually lumping Survivor in with pro wrestling based on that (I know it wasn't you who did it) is a stretch, to put it kindly. I remember there being some reports of producers manipulating a vote in the first season (which was backed up by a couple of contestants who said they'd been asked to change their vote) and the lawyers were out within about 10 seconds.

Not all of the players mentioned above have gone on to win Survivor and - to my recollection - one of them voted for Russell at every possible opportunity. The rumour that I'd give some credence to is that one of the contestants that went very far that season was given some intel that it would be a good plan to latch on to Russell, he'll get to the end with his usual lie/bully/betray game and make himself so hated that whoever's against him will destroy him in the jury vote.

A real meeting of the minds...

"Now I think when he gets hit in the testicles, we should play a cartoonish 'boing' noise!"

Does anyone know of any AFL players who have a twin brother who didn't make it? Or any fraternal (non-identical) twin brothers who played AFL?

Although I'm pretty confident that I could tell Brad and Chris Scott apart, I'd say they're still considered identical twins.
