The Commodore 64 was and still is the pinnacle of a gaming computer.

I remember playing my mates tape drive c64, he had a game called Lord of the ballots, man I loved that game

You feel old?

I'll see your Kingswood Country and raise you a Number 96!

The bloke with the moustache is my dads best friend and my godfather.

I grew up in a house where my dad was a pretty well known local stage actor. Consequently there were some ripping cast parties at my house during my teens. One of my more vivid teenage memories is of a prominant local celebrity smoking bongs in our loungeroom. :thumbsu:

Closest I ever got to "celebrities" was an appearance on the Channel Niners when I was about 10 years old.

I was on the Channel 7 after school show in 1978. I think it was called the Channel 7 Super Fun Show hosted by Steve Witham and Steve Curtis. I got called up to play a game of pass the parcel on the show and it got down to me and one other guy. I got caught holding the parcel when the music stopped and when i opened it it told me i had to act like a monkey.....which i did....on TV. :(

I also did the occasional John Martins and harris scarfe catalogue shoot because of my mum who was with Rave Model Agency. I'm tempted to post one of the catalogue photos for lulz.

That's what all the old people say.
Pfft. Look I like my quad core, dual screen PC with terabytes of disk space etc. etc., but the only games since then game playwise (not fancy graphics and sound) to equal it were the old Sierra adventure games for the PC.

Geez, now I am feeling old. Bastard.

Had a C64, loved it. Also had an Amiga 500 which I loved even more. Only just got my first console (PS3) this year. Nothing beats those old gaming systems

Loved my Amiga 500, I saved for ages to buy the game, it came from the desert, also loved wings

FIFA 12, really keen for 2k13

Spent way too much of my life on the Age of EMpires and of the Elder Scrolls games

Actually I was also on the Channel 10 show Crackerjack in 1977. Spun a wheel, answered a question and won a prize (a radio).

Also found some footage of myself on you tube sitting behind the goals at Alberton in 1973 and also at Football Park in 1976 and 1980!

Just a combination of the last three or four pages.

I have my 10 year high school reunion next week.
I remember playing a Commodore 64.
I remember vividly waking up to watch Agro's Cartoon Connection.

Every time I see a Toots Hibbert post I am going to Like it.

Unless I was arguing with him.

Which was reasonably often.

This has to be done!

I hate calling in sick to work. I always think that they think I'm just bludging. This is my 3rd sick day in a year FFS. Some people have them once every 2 weeks.

If I were in Pattaya right now I would just be crawling back to my hotel..

I'm legitimately sick but I've pulled about two sickies in the last fortnight, and I don't want to seem like a bludger....

Damn Karma.
