I must be first in the clubhouse here.

Officially the year from hell, I have conclusively proven you can not trade your way out of any situation. Over half of my trades were forced on me through 3+ week injuries/suspensions.

I've specialised in getting first quarter injuries, to cop the dud scores to go with the dud selections.

Highlights have included trading in Jobe for 15 minutes of output, and the Kruezer/Varcoe quarter time sub double.

TheBuzz Hey mate, just for shits'n'giggles can you post your complete 2013 trade history?
I don't think i can bring myself to. It would be kinda like publishing a breakdown of all the girls you've slept with. For one reason or another they all seemed like good decisions at the time, but looking back on the list it's pretty shameful.

Still have 3 trades left but found this and thought
Rd 2: Gwilt (Inj) > Suban (100+)
rd 5: Suban (dud) > Harlett (Premium)
rd 8: Hartless (dud) > Vlas* (Cow)
rd 14: Vlas (Job done) > H Shaw (Premium)

* This was after I had Vlas in my original team but traded out after Rd 4 > Crouch who I still have

Mate, it can't be any worse than this! (I have 4 trades left though) Danger > Westhoff & Fyfe > Dixon my most cringeworthy, but there are soo many other trading fails below as 10 players that I traded in, I've ended up trading back out...and one player out than back in (Kreuzer) ...anywhoo for your amusement

Would have bet that Judd_Magic or I would have been the first to run out of trades. Still 1 left and I'm keeping that for a LTI or a finals upgrade.

I have a history of having one trade left a few weeks before finals. LOL!

Have been in this situation the last few seasons and managed to hang onto my last trade till finals.

Here's hoping I can do it again. :D:thumbsu:

Ok, here's my team. It got totally mangled due to trying to just avoid donuts each week, several of my desired final 22 I just couldn't make happen.

S D Thompson, Hanley, Hartlett, Heppell, Gibbs, McKenzie (McGrath, Webster)
Pendles, Swan, JPK, Priddis, Mundy, Fyfe, Armitage, Stevie J (Viney, Hrovat)
Leuenberger, Maric (Nichols, Blicavs)
Martin, Rockliff, Franklin, Hawkins, Staker, Pavlich (Watts, Sumner)

My final trade was a bit of a speculative one - Robinson > Pav. With Freo's run home & Pav actually being healthy it looked ok, but didn't have much time on it as Mitch was a late out & I was dodging yet another donut.

True to form, Pav has been reported & is looking at 2-3 weeks I reckon. FMSCL!

I've arrowed the ins that went back out :(

The shorter the line the worse it is.

Highlighted by my second round sideways trade of Houli --> Harlett, starting the reason with Lachie Plowman, trading Crouch out to Gorringe the week Nicholls busted a huge tone out and bringing in Burbury/Webster thinking they would actually get a game for cash.

3 trades remaining

I'll be joining the club next week but that is mainly because my last 6 trades have been made in some vain hope of mine to finish my team with 26 premiums and 4 non playing rookies (with DP) so that I can try and win the $1000, lol

Some of my finest trades this year include

Dangerfield -> Watson round 6 I knew this was doomed after Danger scored 173 to Watson's 66 the week I made this trade

Macaffer -> Birchall round 13, thanks for the 40 points Birchall!

& possibly my worst trade...

Leuenberger -> Cloke round 10. I heard about Cloke's late withdrawal minutes before the game started on the radio while driving but had no way to reverse my trades so I copped a 0. My other options were Walker & Bartel who scored 150 & 119 respectively

Funniest thing I've done is keep Chapman on my bench all season :p I keep him there to remind myself what an idiot i am for ever picking him this year and that - assuming he doesn't retire at the end of this season - I should never ever pick him again in any form of fantasy game (he has also sat on my bench all year in DT elite).
