Awhile back one of them had a sign on the back of their car, saying I'm new to manual driving...lol.

I saw a car driving around Adelaide with a sign like this yesterday. When I did my license if you tested in a manual car you would get a license to drive manual and auto, if you tested in an auto car, you only got an auto license. Surely these people should have to go back to Ls and pass a driving test if they want to drive manual.

Most people do

My mate got Auto only but they didn't tick the box so he got away with it

My Mum only got an auto license too but has been driving manuals for 25 years, and only one cop ever noticed and he just said get that fixed

My new Google Pixel arrived today. Ordered and paid for the standard phone, received the XL version

Is it possible to instantly fall in love with a tiny piece of technology?

Did my first interstate travel for work. Had 4 days up in Brisbane...loved it. Smashed the work and enjoyed the work gatherings. Don't usually get a Christmas party but we had one up there and all expenses paid. Nothing sweeter than pub sessions paid by the company!

Got a few more coming up + some international stuff. I enjoy breaking up the office monotony with this.

Not in Vic. Can do your P's as Auto only then when you get your full licence you don't have the same restrictions.
If wanting to change to manual while still on P's then yeah you have to do the test again. After full licence its free for all though

So you miracously learn to use a clutch - wow, that is totally bizzare

Correct. I know a few people that have bought a manual with more or less no manual experience, having learnt on auto but having graduated to full licence.

I watered the lawn for the first time this evening.

It hosed here in Perth
Apparently it was much needed rain - seems like it's ****ing rained all year and still the dams are empty

Gough, I can't remember what thread it was that you said you had been watching Please Like Me with Josh Thomas, so I'll just ask in this thread. Have you watched the episode that aired that last Wednesday yet? Brutal television it was.

Haven't seen it yet mate, I'm watching the second season of Fuller House at the moment which is terrible in a great way.

Actually I had the auto only licence & never re-tested to do a manual one. When I got my P's originally my test was booked in before the cut-off for the new P's restrictions when they came in here, I think my birthday was like the week before or something.
My car was an auto & I didn't want to do the test in someone else's car & fail which would then add another year of P's + extra restrictions if I had to retake the test.

Started my current job a year later & all the work vehicles are manual so I taught myself on the job (was lucky I never had my licence checked) then when I went to full licence all was good

Rejecting a job offer and then having the recruiter call straight away to see what they can do. Not a done deal yet but I'm not usually really comfortable with negotiation so was happy I backed myself.

tell them you refuse to do the big macs but are happy working the deep frier. power move.
