I always low ball ladies ages if they want me to guess.

Have learnt this from experience
I usually half jokingly say 'between 10 and 70?', allow no time for a detailed response and change the subject.

100% success rate so far

always guess 21 when it is clear they are older, they seem to love it

I'm early 20s but look about 15. It's very rare that I don't get asked for ID. It's weird, some mates always laugh and what not when they get waved through and I get stopped, but I don't get it? It is no issue for me to pull out my ID when entering pub/club/festival, and when everyone gets older I will still look young. Surely an advantage?

Soft Modding my Wii, ignoring all the illegal benefits it gives I can now just have my whole actual gamecube and wii library on a HDD letting me just change games using a controller and have instant load times on the lot. It really is brilliant.

It is, you will appreciate it when you get alot older (like me!).

I got carded at Young n Jacksons I think it was last year or the year before, I was 31. I just laugh now.

In America it's plain annoying, you get carded ALL the time- they will card 50 yos, its ridiculous. One time in Florida, we walked over to a bar across from the beach, but I couldnt buy one drink, cause I left my ID at home.

Couple of BDO's (the one with Tom Morello and Billy Bragg) ago I got asked for ID, I was in my mid 30's at the time and it should be pointed out also, bald as a coot. I never take a wallet to the BDO, just 1/4oz bag that I keep my money in, so I didn't have any ID. In the end I said to her, that if she honestly thought I was under 18, then that was cool with me, but I thought she should probably get her eyes checked. Got my wrist band.
When I was in America, and I had just turned 21, I never got asked for ID.

Wow, well thats different from my experiences over in the States (been there 3 times)- they constantly check IDs. They are much more heavy with their penalties for using a fake or someone elses ID- i remember one friend using her sisters ID. She almost got arrested!!!

I am 21 and on Saturday night in Chinatown (New York) I ordered my first drink...didn't get carded :( It was dodgy as hell though, got me extremely tipsy, I think it had more alcohol in it than soft drink.

I'd been expecting it to be honest and took ID wherever I went, I was very surprised that I was never asked. I'd heard all the stories too.

I guess you never got to experience the lovely "we do the date the other way round" conversations with a bouncer then. :D

Ahhhh the memories....

It's great! Making lots of new friends and my classes are easy. Oh I left my favourite belt at airport security..shattered.

I haven't seen a Broadway show yet (saw one last year though) and I have been to Ground Zero but not since the museum opened up, so I want to do that when I'm next in the city.

In keeping with this thread, study abroad pleases me :D

Take some epic shots of the skyline and share them. Please.

Will be 31 next month, still look mid 20's :D, some smartarse's still think i can pass for 16-17 o_O and always hound me to bring my id with me. Still get asked if i am paying adult or children's prices when going to the movies - have to break it to them that i am an adult (yet carry on like a child... sometimes), get asked for id when buying R18+ dvds (think thats more legal requirement than someone genuinely believing i am under age).

Yeah I got asked for ID to see an MA movie about two years ago. I just looked at her in disbelief and said "Look, I know I look young, but do I really look 14 or younger?" and she apologised haha.

Oh is the museum opened now??? Disappointed it wasnt open when I was there. If could take some photos of that and post them up please!!! (assuming you're allowed to take photos)

And I recommend Chicago for a musical. It's about the only musical I can stand, saw it in NYC last year when I was there. :thumbsu:
