I wasn't aware that it was BS

I will say it is similar to those who refuse to switch phones off on planes, there is signage around the station requesting not to use phones and I do know petrol station attendants were instructed to shut off the pumps if they saw them being used. They have requested it for a reason (whether it's overcautious or not), I don't think people should take it upon themselves to ignore it because it is BS. That said I am an ultra cautious guy.
