Pissed off with myself. Guy at work everyone hates working with. I refused to accept what everyone was saying so I gave him the benefit of the doubt. Gave him so much time and energy. Tried to Like the guy. Last night really pissed me off with his attitude. I'm done with him.

A few years ago I spent about $100 on non-perishables for emergency situations. Pasta, noodles, pulses, milk powder, cereal. Cans of soup, meat, veg, fruit. Bottles of water. Bog roll. I keep it under a bed. It's not prepper stuff that would survive a nuclear winter but it avoids anxiety if the supermarket shelves are empty for a few days.

It’s a good idea to use the older items from time to time and replace them with new ones. They can deteriorate over a long period.

I didn’t buy anything extra for the coming typhoon. I just hope we can get through a few days of no power if/when it happens, with what’s in the pantry.

My gran would sometimes make spam fritters and I always remembered liking them. Thought I'd give them a go in my adult life for a bit of nostalgia. Same as you. Tasted like shit. Threw it all out. Wtf was i thinking?
